Wow!! My second visit here and all I can say is wow because everytime I visit, the quality is outstanding and so are the dishes. The highlight of my meal were definitely the tuna carpaccio and Wagyu roll - the tuna was perfectly flavoured with a hint of spice and umami with the crispy onions. The tuna was so thin and absorbed the sauce really well.

The Wagyu roll was quite tender and the perfect bite size, a sweet soy flavour and melted in your mouth. The roll wasn’t too heavy with the rice and I would say the amount we ordered was enough for 2 people but we did have a tiny bit amount left over (we could have done without the karaage and the portion would have been good).

The service and atmosphere was exceptional and they are quite attentive, even the sushi chefs when we had any requests! I would love to visit again and I know it’ll only get better.

Was recommended to come here to try omakase and it was an experience. Was abit hard to find because it was in the Establishment and up the lift. The dining area quite compact. Kitchen in the middle with 3 chefs.

The dishes came out quite fast which was good. The sushi was nice but was abit too much. 8 different sushis was abit much. Then after it was the wagyu chuck with rice as a main. Tasty but abit over cooked wagyu made it abit dry. Rice was very tasty though. But by then I was completely full from all that sushi. So had to take most of it away.

Service was excellent. No complaints there.
Overall, nice place to kick back and enjoy quality Japanese food.

I am visiting Sydney and a very lovely friend of mine recommended this place and oh boy I had a great lunch.
I was the first person in, as I booked at opening time, mind I was wearing shorts and a crew cut black sweatshirt even if they stated in the email the dress code was smart casual, I would have not been surprised if I would have been sent away at the door, but it did not happen. I sat at the large bar, stunning interior, nice long marble sushi bar and some other tables for larger groups. Casey (hopefully I am spelling her name right) was absolutely delightful and knowledgeable.
After presenting the specials she gave a couple of suggestions on what to order. Unfortunately they serve San Pellegrino as Sparkling water, which is the death of sushi and delicate flavours with the chalky consistency so I did have Panna as a Still Water option.

I had the Edamame ( classic) they were perfectly cooked and I liked the they came still attached to the small branches, it looked great. After that, some Sydney Rock Oysters with two different toppings: The Shiso granita, surprisingly delicious even if a bit sweet and the Ponzu, perfectly balanced ( I usually ask Ponzu on the side as it can be unbalance and therefore very harsh on oysters). The Wagyu Uramaki was juicy and tender, the short rib inside was perfectly cooked. Tuna Dynamite Temaki was delicious and spicy , I loved the Nori they used, it is of a great quality indeed. The absolute highlight was my main dish, the King Crag Soba noodles, very generous portion and incredible umami. This dish is the reason I would go back to this place. Perfectly balanced flavours tender noodles and mouthwatering crab meat. Fantastic!!! I had a gorgeous SSB from Western Australia, their premium wine selection is outstanding, wish I had more time in Sydney because I would go back and try more!
Oh and thanks for the Dessert you sent to my table, was just the cherry on top!! ( or the pannacotta strawberry In this case, AH!)
Thanks so much to my waitress and the team again for the experience.

I just had a dinner and a great night here.
Nice environment on the top of the Establishment.
Waitress was so polite helping us with our choices, easy to talk to and with a good memory. Food was cooked in front of us, which helped as well to understand exactly what we could have eaten.
We spent 2 hours eating great food. The dessert suggested by our waitress was amazing!
It is expensive but totally worth it.

Sushi E is upstairs from Establishment and offers a Japanese fine dining experience. You can see the sushi chefs turn fresh produce into delicious dishes. I enjoyed everything pictured.

Standout service and excellent food and drinks, in a sleek modern ambiance that reminds me of the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Our server was warm but not over the top, always there when we needed her. When we asked for food recommendations, she was able to provide them based on the drinks we had ordered.
For drinks, I had the Silk Road, which was gin, passion fruit, and egg white. So refreshing and delicious! For food, we had the:
1. Balmain Bug Lettuce Cups: 5/5. Must-try. An explosion of flavours from the first bite. The crisp lettuce, the fleshy avocado, the crunchy tempura Balmain bug, the salty caviar, and a creamy sauce to top it off. A great start to your meal, even though there’s only one lettuce cup per order.
2. Snapper sashimi: 4/5. Delicately cut, it’s light and refreshing. Drizzled in sesame oil to render its base flavour. However, the taste of the fish is a little lost.
3. Atlantic Salmon handroll: 4.5/5. Looks small but actually quite filling. A combination of flavours that all complimented the grilled salmon.

We dropped by on a Saturday evening and luckily there was still space. On the pricier side but definitely recommend if you are in the area!

I highly recommend the kingfish sashimi and wagyu and caviar sushi. These dishes really surprise me with fantastic flavour. The waitresses are gorgeous and very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really good too. Good place to go!

Fancy upper-class sushi restaurant with great sushi selections, great service and great interior design.

We went for dinner on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy.

Spot on. Everything from the service when we arrived to the food. Absolutely spectacular. The soft shell crab hand rolls were amazing, the sashimi so fresh and tasty & the cocktails were super funky. 100% returning here again!

We were able to walk in without a booking, and sat at the bar where we watched one of the chefs prepare our sashimi and sushi, which was a lot of fun. We ordered oysters with ponzu, kingfish sashimi, a medium plate of sashimi (12 pieces), Balmain bug, wagyu tataki and a dynamite sushi roll. Our favourites were the wagyu, which was served with pickled onions and egg yolk, was smokey, creamy and melt in your mouth delicious, and the Balmain bug tempura- crispy, meaty, inventive and extremely flavourful. The sashimi and sushi were both very fresh and delicious.

For drinks we had the "inglorious bastard" cocktail, which tasted quite herbal, and "senpai", which was fruity and refreshing. Both were welcome accompaniments to our meal, and neither was too strong.

Service was very professional; overall we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and appreciated the extra touch of complementary dessert!

Amazing dining experience, really nice service and atmosphere. Would've loved to try the Omakase but it wasn't available Monday night. We still got to sit at the bar behind the chefs and see them make the dishes and admire the technique. The tuna carpaccio and beef tartare were absolute standouts. I'd skip the hand roll next time but definitely pick a few of the nigiri pieces. The free dessert at the end is a nice touch too.

Probably one of the best sushi restaurants in Sydney. Customers are sitting right in front of the sushi bar and will be able to observe all the sushi making from start to finish. Front of house staff are also very polite and the service was excellent. At the end of your meal every customer is entitled to a complimentary Panna Cotta as well. Highly recommended

Really love how small but accessible this place is, although it isn't as intimate as some other places you're likely to get a booking here seated at the counter watching the action happen. The chefs are all masters at what they do, just watching them with precision focus on slicing paper thin slices amazes me. The food was perfect, I expected high quality but this surpassed expectations. You must order the tuna carpaccio, I loved the crispy touch of challot and chilli. Overall Sushi E are providing arguebly the best Sushi experience in Sydney that is actually accessible (unlike some other spots which play some ridiculous booking system involving sending an SMS to a phone number at the strike of midnight and then hoping all the stars align...) and is a MUST go if you have the opportunity.

We came here on a Friday night, thought it was omakase but we checked and they only do that Tuesday to Thursday :( but a la carte was super good nonetheless. We tried their three types of oysters, chef selection sashimi plate, dynamite roll, raw kingfish dish, a handful of nigiris and their special menu wagyu skewers. Quality was super, everything so delicious and I kept moaning after every bite looool 😆 to finish off, we had the passionfruit cheesecake and my goodness me... best dessert ever.... wow seriously, if they have that for a dessert option when you go, seriously get it. You won't regret!!! Everything was so well balanced - flavours, textures, everything!! So refreshing and delicious 😋 service was excellent 👌 definitely worth a try!!

I came here for my birthday and it was one of the finest sushi I've ever had in Sydney. The staff there were also spectacular; one waitstaff somehow remembered my entire order of 10+ dishes without even using a pen and paper. Also what I liked about the service is, she did not try to upsell dishes and recommended based on what I liked. The same waitstaff also came out with a nice birthday desert, shortly after I mentioned it was my birthday. The food was again 10/10. The experience was most pleasurable and will definitely be back for more!

Best oysters I ever had, very quick service. Lovely food. Cocktails a bit on the expensive side.
