The falafel was really light flavourful , and went well with the sides . Also very friendly staff !
The service was great and the cauliflower salad was delicious! However the only downside was that adding a single egg costed $4, which is higher than it usually is in other places.
Friendly and attentive service, good cappuccino and the dessert is really nice!
CARAMELISED GNOCCHI, MERGUEZ SAUSAGE, CAVOLO NERO, FRIED EGG ($21) – BEST OF THE BEST! The gnocchi is one of our favourite dishes in this restaurant. The smooth, fluffy texture and taste of this gnocchi make this dish perfect. One of the highlight of this dish is the sausage which is balanced by providing a salty taste. The texture of the sausage is more like a breadhurst sausage which is hard but chewy. When it combined with the egg and the gnocchi, it will taste like a middle eastern food that you have never tasted before. For shorts, its just tasted beautiful and this dish is highly recommended by you readers who want to try middle eastern foods but not a big fan like me! (10/10)
WOOD FIRED HOT-SMOKED SALMON SALAD, olives, kipflers, soft boiled egg, dukkah ($23) – the salad is the few healthy options in the menu. Of course, there are not much of sauce in the salad. This salad’s highlight was the eggs and salmon that cut down the sour taste of the salad and adds deliciousness to the overall dish. This is literally a starter and healthy dish. (8/10)
SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH, coleslaw, chermoula mayo, chips ($18.50) – the fried chicken sando is just ordinary, its just bread – veges and fried chicken. The taste is very normal, it lacks sauce inside the chicken sandwich. You can’t say that a burger without sauce and that compliment salad is too sour. (6/10)
KSK CHURROS, SALTED CARAMEL ($13.50) – the churros came out piping hot, perfect for the winter breeze. The texture is chewy and biteable, it’s still have the crunchiness outside and soft inside and you still taste the sugar and cinnamon. Moving on to that dipping sauce – salted caramel is a little bit dissapointed, it’s only caramel and a pinch of salt, not a real salted caramel. (7/10)
Homemade lemonade – so refreshing (8/10) and one in a melon – which is basically watermelon and lemon. (7/10)
There is nothing not to love about Kepos St Kitchen, from the awesome staff to the great coffee and of course the beautiful food. Clean, refined and more importantly freaking delicious. I cannot gwt enough of their crunch falafels and the stunning chargrilled prawns. These guys have an incredible wine list that will make your toes curl. Brunch and dinner bucket list for sure!!
In Short: That distinctive yellow awning signals that you’ve arrived at Kepos Street Kitchen. Quality and flavour are hallmarks of the experience, with generous plates of food that take diners on a journey through the Middle East. If you are struggling to choose, because honestly you will be spoiled for choice, I would recommend starting with a Falafel for lunch.
Food for sharing! Love the share plate philosophy, hearty flavours and smoky woodfire aroma of #middleeastern mixed with #mediterranian food

🥩Wagyu beef paired with burnt grapes and chives - who would have thought this would work but it did! Zesty garlic vinaigrette rounded out the dish and it was literally the best dish of the day!
🍆Smoky Baba ganoush with fresh pomegranate and a drizzle of olive oil to add pops of freshness and saltiness
🍞Woodfire Za'atar bread on the house!
🥧Pistachio chocolate slice with a nutty cake base layer, pistachio mousse packed with nutty flavour, a hard caramel layer, hazelnut ganache and topped with a perfectly tempered sliver of dark chocolate
🍸Virgin Frozen Mango margarita was so refreshing after a long day and bursting with sweet Mango flavour
🍹Watermelon raspberry lime cold pressed juice
Chef Michael Rantissi serves delicious food, Israeli style at Kepos Street Kitchen. The food is always consistently scrumptious, the staff always friendly and I always have to buy a cake to takeaway away for the 3pm slumps. #keposstreetkitchen
Excellent Service, breakfast was tasty, cosy environment and great music. Located in convenient place to do breakfast/lunch before you do a shop for your groceries.
Came here on a weekend at about 2pm. Waited about 10 minutes for a table which wasn't a problem. Indoor seating is lovely - lots of natural light and comfortable chairs. Service was friendly and attentive. Dietary requirements were catered for without too much fuss. Ordered a long black (OK - on The Grounds house blend) and watermelon+coconut drink (amazing). Food was delicious; soft shell crab burger with hot chips that were crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside, and the smoked salmon salad which was yummy and huge. Prices are a dollar or two more than most of the competition but well worth it. Cakes looked good too but we were too full to think about dessert. Will definitely be back!
Very nice and tasty food made with fresh ingredients. We had the spanakopita with poached eggs, the benedict with some falafels on the side and everything was absolutely amazing.
Coffee is great as well. They have new dessert menu every week which is fantastic!
We tried the delicious banana cake.
A bit busy and noisy during the weekend
I really liked the falafel pita but my dining buddies weren't overwhelmed with their choices. The mince meat pita was a bit boring and the shakshuka eggs were just okay. They have some really interesting healthy juice mixes. I thought the coffee was excellent but the chocolate milkshake was sort of icy.
I was actually At Carriageworks Markets. I never knew Kepos Street Kitchen made fresh Moroccan Donuts, tasted so good. It has a nice chewy bouncy soft texture, best eaten when is hot, I am just speechless how good it tasted, it comes in 3 different flavours, cinnamon tasted the best. Oh my next fav is baklava this is my favourite version not heavily soaked in honey and not overalls sweet , extra light pastry filled with almond, walnuts, honey and rose petals.
Great place to have brunch.
Staff is very friendly and kind.
Food was delicious.
They have table outdoors.
It gets very busy during the weekend.
A great place to stop by and have coffee, breakfast or lunch. We’ve gone passed it so many times and always saw a line waiting, however the turnover is really quick and we got a seat in 10 minutes.
Staff are lovely and accomodating, felt really well taken care of.
And of course the food was delicious, good serving size and a very good variety. Highly recommend trying their chai tea as well, delicious.
Me and my husband went to Kepos for brunch and the whole experience was amazing. It is a happy and positive atmosphere.
We tried "Moroccan lamb cigar, soft boiled egg, goats cheese, herb salad" , "Arayes pita | wagyu mince, tomato salad, amba, tahini", their Weekend special and Belgium dessert to finish with. They were all super delicious.
The staff were very pleasant and friendly. We requested to explain the menu as it was very new to us, which they were very patiently explained.
Eventhough my husband is usually bit fussy about his decisions on food and drinks and hard to please with taste, the friendly staff well handled him and he was even complimenting the taste of his milk shake untill we arrived home.😁😍 So its a 5 star service for food and staff service.
We will defenetly go again and highly recommended!! A small reccomendation would be perhaps to have images to see on the menu for newbies like us. Thank you for the tasty food and the great service.
High quality coffee and delicious food. I've been a few times now and it's consistently great. Would have the lamb cigar again - pastry was flaky and poached eggs were runny. My friend happily polished off the spanakopita. I'll be back.
Coffee was great and the food was good as well.. I had the fish burger and the highlight was the pickles which really cut the grease from the burger. There was also some herbs in the burger which gave it a unique flavour.
