World Square is packed with nice Asian restaurants so I didn't expect to find a nice cafe, but I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing fancy on the menu but they use fresh ingredients and it's cooked to perfection. If you're at World Square area and looking for a nice brunch cafe, Gazzi is your place. I give this place 4 bears
We went looking for relaxed alfresco dining possibly by a garden or waterfront, GPS landed us in city and restaurant location turned out to be in between two high rise buildings.... but mouthwatering and soul satiating food compromised for all shortfalls. Excellent food explored in middle of hoard of small entries within CND area. Food description.....
Dish 1 - Avocado on Sour Dough Bread with feta cheese and herbs topped with rocket leaves & cherry tomatoes with scrambled eggs ordered extra by side.
Dish 2 - Confit Chicken Breast well cooked with skin on with Lebanese salad of greens & cherry tomatoes and tahini curd drizzled with EVO sprinkled with Lebanese mixed spice.
This was a random choice to go for lunch with a friend and m glad I went.The food options are nice and the service really great.Tried their super food salad which was delicious but the portion size was a bit small.Also tried their baked chicken penne pasta and it was really tasty and filling.Definitely going back to try other items on the menu.
In the heart of the World Square in Sydney's CBD, you will find Gazzi. We had a Project Team lunch here and it was great. It is great to find a place that also does an 'All Day Breakfast'.
There was something for everyone here, from the healthy to the vegetarian to the lovers of pasta. Being a large group the service was friendly and quick too.
I had The Fresh Breakfast: Smoked salmon, tomato, cucumber, avocado, feta cheese, boiled eggs, sourdough & olive oil. Yum!
This place is definitely worth a visit for breakfast or lunch.
Still exploring all the food outlets that World Square has to offer and passed this one in the lane way close to Liverpool St and decorated with lots of lights.
They seem to be quite busy so dropped by for some lunch. Their specials of the day caught my eye and ordered the Chicken a la Parmigiana. The service was really friendly and water was brought to my table quickly. Tried to be healthier and took the side of salad rather than chips. The chicken was nice and crisp with a layer of napolitano sauce, ham, and mozzarella on top. The salad had pomegranates in it too to provide additional sweetness and crunch to it.
Nice place to perch for a while and people watch too if you decided to dine al fresco.

Although they were full and I didn’t get to eat in, I was still pretty wrapped with the way the dealt with me. I was allowed to order a takeaway and eat it on the steps nearby. Pita wrap was fantastic and staff were awesome. Judging by how busy they were I’m assuming everyone seems to agree

Pros: Pasta dishes r delicious and large portion. Love the baked chicken penne which comes with tasty red/pink sauce and cheese melted on top, yum. Love the mushroom pasta, it is a cream sauce with lots of high quality mushrooms. Coffee is excellent. Lunch menu is excellent. Vegetable drinks r freshly juiced and tasty. Burgers r good. I like their chicken parmigiana cuz it’s cheesy and large portion. Salads r good.
Cons:
I don’t like their pastries or berry muffin cuz too dense. I don’t like their breakfast, except for French toast And scrambled eggs r good. Avocado is a paste on their smashed avo, whereas I prefer fresh avocados instead. Fries are a hit or miss: sometimes perfect but sometimes soggy as if they sat out, I wish they would make a fresh batch every time instead. Don’t care for the taziki sauce that comes with the chicken skewers, Sauce needs to be colder, not sure if it sat out to long or what the case is but tastes a little off.
Service and vibe: Quaint, lovely, relaxing. We come here often. Love this place as it’s a great relaxing vibe with Very friendly service !! Just need to know what to order :-) there’s outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor has glass ceiling so rain is not a problem but can get windy, they do have warm outdoor heaters and r always happy to turn them. plenty of lovely seating options!
Super friendly service with lovely fresh food. All day breakfast is on the menu, which always wins points from me. I ordered the avocado, tomato & feta on toast off the breakfast menu, which was a delicious light lunch. Also tasted some of my fiance's prawn pasta, which had a delicious sauce that I happily dipped some of my bread into. I had a chai latte along with this, which was classic tasting with a good amount of cinnamon on top (not too much). Would definitely return to try more things.
Orange juice alone is perfection. Staff are incredibly friendly and sing along too. Would highly recommend for breakfasts.
Early Sunday morning and it was abuzz with people. We managed to secure a table deep inside. I eyes the Big Breakfast but somehow something inside me said "No". I chose the corn fritters and did not regret this - a generous serve, fritters that are not dry nor hard, a flavourful combo with a dash of sauce. Lionel had the Benedict. Coffee was above average. The sun came up behind me.
