We would like to thank Adam for his fantastic service and food recommendations. He has been outstanding as we have been coming to the Establishment ever since COVID-19. He has been amazing in ensuring strict adherence to the social distancing rules. We all feel safe coming to this venue. Adam and staff have made this such a pleasant experience.
I didn’t realise that this venue had quite an extensive menu for lunch. It’s quite casual setting with shared tables. You order up at the bar and food get brought out to you. You can get pub style food like schnitzel and burgers, Thai influenced meals or salad.
had the beef pad thai and it was real good, the beef they used was marbled and that wasn't expected! beautiful place and the service was great! recommend !
We had a very enjoyable time at our friends wedding reception for their daughter at the Establishment Bar. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was well presented and delicious. Great live music and a good location to dance.

Beautiful but Busy!!
I've only visited this bar during our after work drinks. My colleagues and I often book a table so at least we can buy some bar snacks when drinking.
Okay, the bar is located in a very perfect location. Close to public transport, close to many hotels and close to other bars. If you are going here on Friday Night, there are a lot of office people and less of young crazy youths, if you know what I mean.
The bar is beautiful and staff professional and friendly. Bar staff introduced me to CC dry and Lime and SC dry and Lime which is great cause it's good that bar staff talk to you rather then taking orders and that's it. On the other hand, the bar does become very very busy especially in the entry section. This bar has a 'garden area' which does not get as packed as the inside. Only difference in my opinion... there is better lighting inside.
When you are finished drinking, simply cross the road and you are at Wynyard Station.
I would strongly recommend this bar for after work drinks for its great bar scene, club scene and it's proximity to a lot of amenities which include public transport.
We always go to this place on most occasions, just because of the Drinks & Bar 😉
The place is big enough for farewell party and you do need to make reservation.
Food: Thai foods were very delicious. Should try the Thai food if you never eat here before.

Known more as a bar frequently visited by corporates for friday night after work drinks, we headed here for brunch saturday morning and were pleasantly surprised with its brunch menu, we ordered the corn fritters and the big breakfast. The place was spacious and had nice decor as well.
When lunching in the city with colleagues, Establishment is always a popular choice. Located centrally in George Street near Wynyard Station be sure to book a table or get there before 12pm esp. later in the week. A good menu with an excellent Thai section - dishes that range from approx. $16 - $22. Popular with city business workers. This is the perfect inner-city restaurant due to the speed of their food service and consistent quality of their food. Great for a long lunch or a quick bite to eat between meetings.
Great place for a quick lunch during the week. Food is well priced, tasty and service is quick. We eat here almost weekly and have never had a bad meal. Great spot for after work drinks too.
Great place for drinks. Lots of great ambience and after work drinks. We ordered the Provelone eggplant dish which was magnificent. Well worth the commute.

NYE 2021. Same as NYE 2020. Loads of extremely ultra-attractive hot bar staff. Almost painful to order a beer without realising that your life is meaningless and utterly unexceptional. Though that’s just me. Still single. Establishment Bar is lovely, prices reasonable considering it’s topographical situation. At this NYE2021 meetup group for the third year running I came to the Establishment Bar. My hope was to meet a fellow traveller. My good friend in my loveless search Brendon said, well pretty much told me that I have to lose at minimum 10kg if I expected any interest. He’s right. I love beer. The Establishment Bar is one of those Sydney watering holes that look upper class but at the end of the day cater for the mass of uncivilised regular people looking to drown their sorrows in booze and bar food. The chips and chicken wings are average, meaning they’re enjoyable and tasty but nothing original or special. That’s not a dog at the Establishment Bar, it’s merely the observation of a punter who drinks and eats far too much fatty and delicious bar snacks across the city. Great place to observe the beautiful people. A parade of the lovely and hotly sexy and extremely generic lottery winners wearing beautiful well designed clothes. They walk around the bar as if on a catwalk and I for one enjoy the expression of early twenty first century fashion and casual beauty. As usual my efforts at trying to attract a over 50+ mate failed to materialise. I dressed up. Establishment Bar is a great place to strut your stuff whilst sucking down booze. Great environment. Awesome atmosphere and if only I was 10kg lighter perhaps my opportunities for a serendipitous event would have been improved. Drink and be merry because tomorrow you have to pay your bills and deal with your blabbering painful boss. I had fun and left as lonely as I arrived but a good place to be a loser.
The best Chicken Caesar salad I’ve ever had.
Perfectly dressed (sometimes it’s either not enough or drowning in dressing), crunchy fresh leaves, perfectly cooked eggs, the chicken was soo tasty, love the fluffy Parmesan on top - 11/10 🥗 need this in my life! Great venue, and the service is energetic and welcoming
Bright and spacious interior which makes it the perfect setting for any occasion - from casual lunch catch-up to corporate group event. Food and drink prices are on the expensive side, but as expected due its location. I ordered the seafood linguine which was a good portion size, however, the pasta quality could be improved. Great cocktails and I’ll definitely consider coming back! ☺️
The security guard checked our bags before entering the bar. As soon as we walked in, it's a buzzing place. This was on Thursday night. A lot of working people that go here after work and kick on till late. It wasn't super packed so we got served quite quickly by the lovely bar tender.
You can only order your normal mixers, beers and wines at the main bar. If you'd like a cocktail, you'll need to go to the bar at the back that does it for you.
So we walked to the back, it took slightly longer then the main bar. A patron had dropped his drink and one of the staff quickly told another employee to mop down the wet area. Whilst the employee was getting a mop, the staff was telling everyone to watch their step. I haven't seen it happen so quickly and fast. The decor is also very nice. Very high ceilings, nice outdoor area that's covered.
Big open space and that too indoors. That was a surprise. Loved the environment, the music and the menu was really good with lots of options to eat and drink. Will surely visit again. Just an FYI, please use less salt in the Thai food as it has soya sauce which is already very salty. But otherwise great ambiance.
Food is a little slow but amazing place.
They would make more money if the bar staff didn’t just look busy but focused on COSTOMERS.
