More or less traditional pub style restaurant meals for carnivores (but also lobster!), executed with perfection. Every mouthful of each dish was a delight. Looking forward to going back!
The Four in Hand (4-in-Hand) hotel, pub, almost formal dining, and eatery is your place away from home. I certainly would drive any distance (and I have!) just to arrive simply because the people who run it are top choice. Serious in everything they do, or, "very professional" yet never too much so as forget to say "Hello." The Four in Hand Hotel is smack dab in Paddo, really about 1 or so blocks from Trumper Park. Who me? I love the place and is normally the first place I go to immediately after arriving at Mascot.
Beautiful local pub with an extensive menu serving some really delicious food. The calamari was absolutely outstanding and the most tender I have had in ages.
The porchetta had a beautiful crisp skin and tender inside. Hanger steak was tender and soft inside with a great rub packed full of flavour. Looking forward to a couple of those schnitzels and the awesome looking new menu.
Great food, generous servings - great quality pub food. A bit higher on the scale price wise but not exorbitant. A great local pub with finer meal options. Worth checking out - it definitely would be quite busy in the evenings so I’d suggest making a reservation.
Fab cosy, neighborhood pub. Good selection of beer, happy hour offers, a varied menu and plenty seating in a variety of rooms so it doesn't lose its cosiness. Staff are really friendly too.
Booked for 645pm Friday night with a swans game on. Very strict at the door about booking or not. I would suggest it doesnt seem like a walk in pub... ordered beers from an okay selection from tap, no sours on tap. Food was good. We ordered the lamb shoulder (which take about 45 mins to come out) but it was good, great size for $79. The gnoocchi that we ordered we think they forgot it as it was too crispy on the outside and gooey inside and when we followed up the order they rushed it out... not worth $25. Steak was good quality and a large serving of fries. Would recommend if you have booked. Security were friendly, other staff not so much.
Nestled in the hack streets of Paddington this beautifully renovated pub is perfect for a relaxing meal and drink. It has a wide selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails so you won't be disappointed. The real star here is the food, well presented, cooked to perfection and utterly. Good luck trying to find food you don't want to try. The lamb shoulder for two is divine and paired with the duck fat potatoes and carrots side dish you will be happy.
Lamb shoulder is to die for. It's plenty for two and everything is marvellous. Sit upstairs for quiet or downstairs for a more usual pub vibe. Selection of beers is also great, 25 taps.
