Had dinner at yuki’s and had such a great experience! Service was amazing, I think our waiter’s name was Mariko!! She was really good in helping us navigate through the menu. Popcorn shrimp, miso eggplant, grilled eel & wagyu steak were so yummy!! I would of expected the miso to be a bit caramelised though. The deluxe assorted sushi and sashimi was a bit underwhelming but was satisfactory.
Overall a positive experience!
Can’t imagine enjoy the gorgeous seafood at home during the special period. Much thanks to the boss and all the staff.
The food was delicious and the only thing I could fault were the sides of the wagyu because it is minimal. Other than that the food itself was amazing.
We had 50% so it was well worth it’s otherwise for all this it would’ve been over $300.
We were in The Rocks and looking for a quick bite when we discovered Yuki’s on one of the food apps (providing a 50% discount). The restaurant, located on the first floor of the Overseas Passenger Terminal can be accessed via the lifts. With indoor and al fresco dining, it offers sweeping views across Sydney Harbour, taking in the Opera House across to the city skyline. The menu is priced at a premium but this isn’t any ordinary location, and the food was of great quality and beautifully presented.
Very fusion modern Japanese. We had the vivid Sydney (in June) set menu. Very generous for super appetiser. Friendly staff, best view in Sydney for Japanese dining!
A very lovely restaurant situated in a quiet location with the Opera House in view. I especially loved the sashimi boat providing fresh seafood. The staff were lovely and delivered superb quality dishes. The paper hotpot was an interesting display. Overall, I've had a positive experience and would highly recommend this restaurant if you're after Japanese fine dining.
Really great authentic Japanese food with good service. We celebrated a birthday here and took along a cake, they were very good about this - brought it out with candles (we had forgotten to bring any) and served the pieces nicely for each of us with a special decoration for the birthday girl. Also took a photo for us with a instant camera.
service is pretty good and a really nice view. service was a bit rushed but that was because we didn't book and had to vacate (they told us beforehand so its ok). the paper hot pot for some reason amazed me heaps, the taste was decent but the spectacle itself was for some odd reason oddly satisfying. not a fan of the "steak", a bit tough imo the lobster is slightly better due to the sauce. definitely recommend for a romantic evening
Reserved a dinner booking for my mums birthday. Ordered a vivid course ($90) Really good service, the staff was very nice. Food was excellent, especially the green tea mousse! It had really good atmosphere, perfect for celebration events. One thing id comment is it was a bit too much food for us since we don't eat much but overall very good experience!
Great quality food, we came here without making prior booking. Our friends made a prior booking however as we were extras we had to wait an extra 15-20mins for a table to be setup next to them which all they did was drag another table which we could of done instead of waiting. Service aside, the sashimi was fresh and besides the bad start we would return again but this time definitely with a booking.
We found this business by mistake on a Saturday and we’re the only table seated in the restaurant. The dishes we ordered were quite delectable though we did not find full value in the pricing of the dishes and cocktails when comparing to other experiences at other Japanese restaurants.
The table service and cleanliness was great also.
Had a lovely time here. The staff were friendly and not pushy. Their sake reserve list is a great selection ranging from the full bodied to delicate flavours and scents. Their sashimi were delectable, daily special of the Wagyu was delicious and presentations of their food can't be justified with my camera skills. Their view of the Opera house is also very wonderful. It's a great find and we would definitely come back for more.
Beautiful food and a very calming atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinner here. We had 3 different sushi rolls, the miso eggplant and some edamame. The quality is great and we’re looking forward to returning and trying some other dishes.
Even for Sydneysiders, it’s spectacular to enjoy the opera house views from your dinner table.

Went to Yuki's for dinner on a weekday. Had to follow signage to the lifts to take us up to the restaurant. We were welcomed on entry to our seats. The restaurant is on the fancier side and quite intimate (given not that much indoor seating) - also great views of the harbour and Opera house! We ordered a flounder (special for that day), assorted sashimi and edamame. The fish was cooked 2 ways (fried and in a soupy sauce with veggies). The presentation was great especially the fried fish fillets in the fried shell of the fish. Fish was a little overcooked and unfortunately quite dry. The fried fish shell was a nice touch and completely edible (bones and all!). The soup part of the dish was quite ordinary. Definitely nothing special. Probably wouldn't order this dish again if we were to revisit. The assorted sashimi was so delicious and so amazingly fresh! A good mixture of salmon, tuna, kingfish, snapper and scallop. All super fresh! Would definitely recommend. Staff were very polite and attentive - drinks were always refreshed without asking.
Booked the place to celebrate my son’s birthday with family and friends. As always, big groups are always difficult to handle but Yuki’s did more than I anticipated. From the time of booking, collecting pre-orders and communicating both party’s expectations. Food was great and everyone enjoyed the night. As for the view? Amazing backdrop of the Sydney Opera House. What else can we ask for? Will definitely recommend and come back for more.
We use to live in Okinawa Japan for 3 years and have been in search for fresh tasty Sashimi. We were told by our hotel concierge that this is the place to check out. It did not disappoint!! The service, food, Japanese whiskey and view were 10/10! Arigato gozaimasu! Shu and staff!
Positively surprised by this place: a fine dining restaurant where all tables have Opera House views and the food is good, but the prices are not completely outrageous! Yukis offers a solid Mod Oz mix of Japanese classics and Western food with Japanese touches, and the 6-course degustation for $90 is a steal given the location, you can easily add another zero to the price if you go to Quay next door. Two thumbs up for a special night out!
