The best 10/10 coffee, great breakfast and the loveliest of staff, glad we stumbled on to this lovely little French cafe whilst in Sydney

I'm hating how amazing the Paris Brest is!! Why did I discover this place around the corner from my place just before speedo season?!?
Best coffee ever; never burnt. My favourite place for coffee in Potts point. Staff are very friendly and remember your order. Highly recommend
A nice quaint French cafe. The owner & staff were very friendly & welcoming. They serve mostly simple cafe fare, croissants, baguettes & quiches. There's coffee & eclairs of course. We stopped by late afternoon for a bit of a sugar hit & their extensive range of eclairs were just perfect. Chocolate, passion fruit, strawberry, coffee, caramel, hazelnut, raspberry, pistachios & plenty more. My hazelnut one, was nice, not sweet. I could've eaten another one.
Great little Cafe with French vibes. I came here to grab takeaway coffees. Quick and friendly service. Coffee was awesome (and I loved he coffee cups design).
Cute little French cafe on the outskirts of the cross. Run by French people and seems to attract French customers.
My eggs benedict was probably the best presented I've ever had. The hollandaise sauce was very unique - served on the side in a jar mixed with wholegrain mustard. The only criticism is that the bread was a little petite for my liking, would have liked larger slices, that said it taste great.
The coffee and service was really good also.
PS. The cakes looked great but didn't get a chance to eat any.
Nice friendly service by the French owner when ordering at the counter with lots of tempting eclairs on display. I chose the Passionfruit Eclair ($6.50) with nice flavour and texture that was thankfully not too dry. Cappuccino ($3.50) using Morgans Coffee Roasters quite nice. Babyccino ($free) is free and at least half froth achieved although had a little spillage accident with Miss 2 year old so demonstrates why I always prefer if it's all froth. Mini Croissant ($2) baked in house was good as a dipper for the coffee. Hard to find parking in the area but seemed to be a popular spot for the locals to get an eclair fix.
Sunday morning. After dropping off our rental car at No Birds, we wander out and decide to look for a quick brekkie. Macca's is kinda ruled out. Its also a no for a long relaxed brekkie. As we walk towards the dodgy end of Kings Cross, at 10 in the morning, we walk past Douce France. Loads of people seated there and small little cute cafe. We order for a skim cap for takeaway and a ham and cheese croissant. We settle into the comfy couches as we wait for takeaway. As we wait, we are tempted by the thin eclairs kept in the showcase with different layers os chocolate on top.
The coffee is good. The ham and cheese is so wow. Amazing. Fresh croissant, slightly.smoked ham, cheese. There is some other thing in the croissant that makes it a lil gooey and yet delicious ham and cheese.. as i write this I want to run back and order another one. Loved it..Sayuri Shenoy
Lovely little cafe with good coffee and the best croissant I've had in Australia. Homemade jam was delish too. And now I'm off to raid the cake selection!
Love it. All previous reviews are so right. No need to say more
I've had a LOT of pastries in my day and this, in my opinion, is some of the best croissants and eclaires I've ever had.
The portions aren't huge, which is nice, and the coffee was very decent too.
Everyone spoke French and it was packed. It's a little corner of Paris in the middle of the Cross.
I highly recommend it.
Awesome bakery. Great coffee and friendly service.
Highly recommended.
Probably the best Iced Latte I've had in Sydney. More than just an espresso milkshake. Made with care! And fab service.
My favourite local place for lunch on the go. Delicious home made quiches and an assortment of home made elclairs made daily. And true french baguettes.
Good coffee, OK baguette, though very nice eclairs (pistachio).
Very delicious food and coffee, they make their own pastry, staff are awesome and cozy place. Love it
Want to try the best Eclair in Sydney? This is it. We had the mango and passion fruit variety. It's one of those eating experiences where as soon as the flavour hits your tongue your mind says "yup, that's exactly how it's supposed to taste". Lovely staff, beautiful small but nicely cozy interior. And great coffee.
