It’s good! Vietnamese restaurant from the heart of city and in the Casino of The Star for people who loves Pho and Vietnamese food! There is also desserts in the restaurant! It’s so convenient!
Came here for the lobster special in June, ordered the $29.99 XO lobster with glass noodles. It came with a whole lobster, loved the tasty xo sauce, the meaty lobster and the sauce to mop up with the glass noodles. It was literally half price so great value. Also ordered the black pepper beef which is a signature dish, it was average, I did find the beef slightly tough, perhaps over cooked or not tender enough.
The restaurant is inside the casino gaming floor itself so not the best ambience, would be keen to try the chef’s other restaurant in Surry Hills.
Their chicken Pad See Ew is really really good! Lots of flavor and the noodles are really soft. We also had the salt and pepper squid and that was nice and soft too. The food came out super quick and we were seated pretty quickly considering there was a bit of a line! I would definitely go back to try the other dishes

I have eaten here a couple times but never thought it was worthy of a review. This time, it exceeded all expectations hence the 4 star rating. The only reason why I'm not giving a 5 is because the waiter asked us to pay the bill before our food came out because it is a new policy. I asked the waiter if we could pay later as my partner was drinking and wanted to order more drinks to avoid confusion, but she was hesitant so we just paid straight away.
I initially ordered the watermelon juice but the waiter said it was unavailable (even though I already paid for it) so I ordered the ice mint and lime soda instead. I didn't like the drink. She charged me $7 for the watermelon juice but the mint soda was only $5.50. She only realised the difference in price after I pointed it out and returned $1.50.
The spring rolls were fresh, salt and pepper squid was full of flavour and had just the right amount of spice. The Angus Beef was also fresh and delicious but there was not enough meat compared to noodles... other than that, I can't complain.
Will definitely be coming back, next time I'm at The Star.

I have been going here frequently since it first opened. Can I start with saying it serves the best Laksa I have had in Sydney 😋 visited last week with 4 others. Food was amazing as expected! I ordered the salmon sashimi (was a little too thinly cut but delicious none the less - a wasabi sauce would have been nice with it) I also had the Angus beef dish without the noodles. It was fresh and delicious! (I was on a diet and they accommodated accordingly - hence no noodles) Service is very good and our waitress made it easy and was very polite and attentive. Will continue going back! I love you Fat Noodle! 🤗
Really love the beef pho! It's so tasty with the slice of Angus beef and briskets, I like the rice noodle with chilli sauce.
The Hananese chicken seems nice too.
Mark and James’ Kiwi uber driver recommended coming to Fat Noodle for our pre-theatre dinner, on a Monday night (the show, the final Hats Off fundraiser was SO good, an incredible array of performers from the world of musicals and shows). Going through the food court, it was absolutely packed with everyone else going to the show. So, why not? We headed up to the casino, where it’s tucked into a corner surrounded by pokie machines and other gaming areas. It’s a weird place to be.
Love this place. Pho is one of my favourites and it's a fresh, clean tasting dish but the meat can sometimes be fatty. Menu changes frequently but the popular items stay
The first thing I look at in a place is customer service... I guess that the service here is just amazing... the team is welcoming, prompt, very helpful and ready to make the experience really nice.
The food is outstanding in terms of taste and presentation... It was worth the 15 mn walk on a freezing night 😊
Fast Service. The food was tasty and didn’t need extra seasoning! 10% off for members when you swipe your card! Below are member specials until the end of March! I do think I wouldn’t have paid the full price for those dishes if I didn’t receive the member discounts as they were very small portions!
This is another one of my Favs, when at the Star Sydney, the food is great, fast and taste just wonderful. You can see the Chef's busy cooking your delights, service is always great too, its eat and go back to the Gaming Floor, nice and handy when you feel like a quick bite its just there, you can just about smell the flavours....
