This place is exactly like Lafayette Gourmet in Paris. There is a variety of sections for you to get pre made food and premium ingredients to take home and cook yourself. The cakes and sweets here are to die for. You can take everything to go weather you want a quick bite or to sit down at one of their tablets to eat. It is in the basement of the men's clothing store. This place is very animated at lunch time but you can beat the crowd later in the afternoon.

Asian bar was pretty tasty. It was a random find but glad we found it. I did the fried rice and it was very flavorful and filling. It is a small eating area since it is bar style so expect to wait a little for seating. I think we waited maybe 10-15 minutes. Overall certainly worth the price. We probably spent 20 aud per person and that's including a beverage. I even tried the pad thai and it was also delightful.

The David Jones Food Hall Oyster Bar has been around for decades. The food is always fresh and tasty however it is quite expensive. If you have a problem with sitting on stools this is not the place for you. I don't believe there is any low seating area for wheelchair accessibility. Classic dishes include the Seafood Chowder and the oysters Naturale Kilpatrick or Mornay. The chowder used to be chunkier and to be honest that was better. The oysters are fresh & tasty in any variation, however they are on the small size.

Had lunch in the Market Street Kitchen. Prices for both food and drinks were decent, actually pretty good value for the CBD and location. Portion sizes weren't huge but the food was pretty tasty and overall enjoyable. Beer and wine selections were good and well priced. Service was pleasant and efficient. The space is a little tucked away but would definitely return for a quick enjoyable lunch.

Such a gorgeous Department store. Very well set out, stocks amazing labels in clothing, shoes and accessories - something for all budgets. I am always impressed with the customer service from the staff when I shop here. Great Christmas window displays, well worth a visit just to see them.
