Delicious pasta, good service.
Excellent flavour in the prawn linguini pasta. The pasta was not quite al dente, everything else was great. Would have the same pasta again
Fratelli Fresh is always consistently good, especially the pizzas and pastas. The service can be hit and miss at times but you always leave with a full and happy belly. Good wine list too! #frattellifresh #lobster
Giving 5-stars here to this place for me is very easy and I'll explain why, this place is 300m from my office and they do a happy-hour from 3-6 where they do 3 cocktails, house beers, wines and 2 classic pizzas (the margherita and the diavola) for $5, yes, only $5 which is so much value.
So having 2 pints and a pizza after a long day makes everything better and knocks me down by only $15. on top of that, they do daily lunch specials which also brings down the prices.
About the food, its good quality, fresh ingredients and full of flavour, I like the fettuccine and prawn but my favourite is the Bresaola and Burratta pizza (which I have on Tuesdays as they do 2-1 pizzas that day), the staff is also a very nice and attentive.
The cocktails are alright (tried the bellini and negroni), pasta is pretty good (tried the fettucine with seafood, linguine with prawn) and the desserts are excellent (tiramisu and hazelnut gelato).
Service is friendly and efficient. The place seems quite spacious.
Highly recommended if you want fantastic food and attentive service. Not the place for an intimate conversation (very loud!). The pizza was among the best we've had (and we've had a lot of good pizza!)
Visited this place for a friend’s birthday celebration.
Most of my friends are vegetarians and this place impressed us all with the range of vegetarian options on the menu. The tiramisu was the best!!
We ordered the set menu for two people, it included an antipasto board, one main for each person with a plate of rocket & Parmesan salad to share & one dessert each. It was satisfying. 😎 The antipasto board was excellent, there was a good variety of cold & hot food on the board. Everything was freshly made & prepared. A great starter to the meal. 🙂
For the main we ordered a pasta & a pizza. The prawns were big & fresh in the pasta, there was a chilli kick in the sauce which was tasty, wish there was more sauce & more prawny taste it it though. 😌 The pizza was delicious with generous toppings. I particularly loved the Vannella cheese smoked mozzarella balls, they had a beautiful smokiness and lovely texture. The dough was nice & chewy but a little burnt on the base, somehow tasted a little bitter. 😬
Excellent service, staff was friendly & helpful. Alcohol drinks are a bit pricey, if you like to try their cocktails & wine, should go there during happy hour. 😚
Great place for pasta on a cold winters night, the pasta's are tasty and hearty. The red wine selection is good and extensive. The desserts menu isn't something to pass on either.
Probably one of my favorite Italian restaurants this end of town and I can see why they've been able to branch out to so many locations.
Really good location for afterwork dinner/drinks. On contrary to the other reviews, we actually enjoyed our time there. The lobster pasta was cooked al dente and had just enough sauce to coat the pasta and not cover your white top with red spots, although we did hope for more lobster for $39. Happy hours runs mon-fri from 4-6pm. I mean espresso martini's for $5, top another $5 for a margherita?! That's a steal. Giving it 4/5 as they burnt the pizza the first time but the staff were really apologetic and had it replaced.
Absolutely loved Fratelli Fresh 😍 this underground restaurant is perfect for a chilled night out with friends, a romantic date night and anything else
Loved the vibe and dim lighting, being able to see the talented chefs cooking your meal is an added bonus, the food is absolutely amazing, authentic Italian so delicious 😍 will definitely be returning when I’m next in Sydney
Delicious food and a great option when we didn't want food hall food while with our two small children. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great.
The gnocchi and pizzas were delicious, hubs loved the calamari.
One Star off as we thought pricing was a little high.
We came here on our first night in Sydney after reading the menu online. The service was incredible, we had a lovely waiter who looked after us extremely well and the food was great. We luckily caught their happy hour specials and it was well worth it so we would definitely come back to eat here again.
Huge space located underground in the CBD! We had a lunch over there. The food came pretty fast considering there were large groups ordering the same time. The quality of food was great and the flavours on all dishes were perfect.
We came here for the first time and had heard good reviews on all Fratelli Fresh chains from various friends.
We ordered:
1. Glass of Pinot Nero
2. The Prawn & Garlic Pizza
3. Crab Spaghettini
4. Vanilla Pannacotta
5. Tirasmisu
We enjoyed every single item that we ordered. The Prawn & Garlic Pizza was very tasty and fresh. Big balls of cherry tomatoes and onions which added sweetness to the pizza and good little chunks of prawns were to be seen too.
Our fave was the Crab Spaghettini. It was evident that they were quite generous with the amount of crab spread throughout the pasta and it was just beautiful in its flavour and presentation. Definitely keen for this again!
I loved my Vanilla Pannacotta. It had the perfect wobble and creaminess to it and paired beautifully with the passionfruit sauce and apricots.
The Tiramisu is a very generous serve! My husband struggled to finish it!
He said it was probably one of the best Tiramisus he’s ever had!
So impressed with our meal that I signed up for the rewards program. You get this cute little key ring with “Fratelli Fresh” on it!
The only downside was that there were a lot of people there so it was a little loud and hard to carry a conversation. It’s a good sign though that they were so packed.
The bathrooms are also very quirky, combining a big space with mens’ and womens’ cubicles once you walk in and the hand basins are communal and shared.
There’s also a private dining room for those who wish to have a private function.
It’s a funky restored old space.
Will be back for sure.
Came here for our 6 years anniversary during our honeymoon in Sydney. The place is packed with customers. It was super loud too. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere then this is the place for you. The food was delicious. First time eating a seafood spaghetti where it was slightly spicy. 👍
