The prices are high but you get good staff, a popular small room (busy at 10:30 on a Wednesday) and interesting product. I’ll give good marks just for the unusual coffee, starting off rough and somewhat grainy but then so creamy that it all rolls over your tongue like an avalanche of pristine Swiss soil and cattle.

Had a great brunch at Fleetwood Macchiato. It felt a little cramped inside but the food was very tasty, though the smoked chilli in the smashed egg roll certainly had a kick to it!

Got their vegan beetroot sandwich to go. It was delicious. Fresh ingredients, and a load of good stuff. Pretty filling, it kept me going for a few hours. It is quite a buzzing cafe close to Erskineville station.
