Great cocktails, friendly service and delicious food, one of my new favourite bar. If you can’t decide on a drink or food, just ask the staff for recommendations. We asked for recommendations and loved everything.

Kittyhawk helped arrange a private cocktail masterclass as a surprise present for my fiance. Everything from the get go made us feel so unique and special, like celebrities! Paris/bartender extrodinnaire was so fun and welcoming. He was excellent at pulling out our stories and memories to create flavours which typified them.

Needless to say the cocktails were incredible and we loved all the hints we were given. The cheese and charcuterie platters were to die for.

I would recommend this experience a hundred times over. I would do this again a hundred times over haha

Yums. Had to have the LEGO man in jelly!

As mentioned by some other reviewers- it’s pretty easy to miss but worth the effort. Nice cosy bar with friendly staff. Maybe read the menu here before hand as it’s hard to get to the nitty gritty or cocktails by candle light. Or maybe I’m just getting old.

It gets very busy on Friday afternoon though. I will come back again.

Finally a bar that you can go on a date and be able to have fun.

Finally a bar that females can go and feel safe

Finally a bar that you can have a good meal.

The search is over!

We visited this establishment for a Saturday night catch up with my cousins. We were running a bit late (thanks to the government's M5 issue) however the staff were understanding and we still managed to take our table.

It was a bit squashy, 5 people sitting on two small round tables but honestly, we didn't pay that much attention to it. The atmosphere is set post WW2. The staff are dressed wonderfully vintage and are all very friendly.

The lights are dim but bright enough that you can see across the other side of the bar.

The food was spot on delicious and the cocktails, 100% perfect. I would say, they did lack the strength of the alcohol, so I am not sure if they weren't pouring as much that night..... but yet it was still a 'refreshing' drink.

This bar is tucked away from the hassle and bustle of the City CBD but once you step inside, it's all great.

Strongly recommend you visit this establishment if you are in the Sydney CBD. Can't wait come here again.

Kitty Hawk a hidden cocktail bar down toward Circular Quay. This joint has a classy layout and drinks list. The bar is long with a number of stools and a great spot to watch your drink being prepared, have a chat to the bar staff and enjoy a drink. The whisky list is quality and they do some cool stuff with their cocktails, like jelly lego figurines and divers. Enjoy some small bites with your drinks, a charcuterie plate or some cheese.

Cool bar with a great theme and atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly and suave, and they are quite entertaining when whipping together the cocktails.
It wasn’t too crowded (not too many people standing) when we went. However, if there were anymore patrons, the noise level would be awful. The music is quite loud for a bar, which makes conversation difficult. The lights are also really dim, so much so that we had to use our phone torches to read the menu.

Great inner city bar located in the business district. We popped into Kittyhawk on a Friday night while we were waiting for a table at Hubert. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted by friendly staff who gave us a seat at the bar. It was dimly lit which added to the atmosphere and good background music so you could still chat with friends. The staff recommended the Sonic Watermelon cocktail that was delicious followed by the Polynesian Pearl Diver which was topped with a scuba diver plastic man. The place has a reasonable amount of seating with bar, tables and booth seating. I will definitely return to try the food menu.

Through some heavy doors in Sydney’s business district is a bar that recreates an era of liberation and celebration – post-war Paris. And the 900 spirits behind the 12-metre long bar is definitely reason to celebrate. In addition to the central bar space, this auditorium-sized watering hole also has an elegant restaurant and a front conservatory that’s soaked in city views.

By the team behind Lobo Plantation, it’s no surprise that The Kittyhawk is a military might, with plenty of winks to World War II (including a large painting of Kittyhawk fighter aircrafts embellishing the walls), a perfectly paired-back Parisian menu and cocktails that are pieces of art.

What I loved about The Kittyhawk when I first uncovered this place was that the barmen were all suave in black tie above the waist but a couple of glimpses revealed they had on Billabong board shorts below the waist (it was a hot night ok). The 1950s bathrooms are also pretty cute, in a very pink kind of way.

We are in love with the place! Delicious food and cocktails, good vibe and service. Not much to fault for our first time here. The cocktails are smooth and balanced. We had the old fashioned and the monet’a garden. Happy hour was also cheap, beer is cold :) For food, My favourite was the burrata - fresh and a good palette cleanser, and the steak tartare- tangy, spicy and rich. The chips that came with the tartare were a bit burnt and papery, but the frites were perfect.

I am not a fan of whiskey but the cocktails whipped up with them have changed my stance! Everything we ordered could of been priced a few bucks more as it was quality. The tartare was the stand out dish. The oysters were the best value as it was happy hour!

Went for drinks after work on Friday. Happy hour is 4-6pm so was packed when I arrived just before 6 and I couldn’t be seated. Then people started to leave as happy hour ended and I was able to get a seat. Food is lovely. We ordered the 3 meat and 3 cheese platter (chefs selection) which seemed to be the cheapest out of the choices which was a bit disappointing. The meat platter came with a awesome wasabi mustard and it was a nice addition. We also ordered the burrata which was amazing! Bar service for drinks is a little slow, but they are also crafting cocktails which takes a bit but it wasn’t that busy at some points and I was still waiting quite a bit to be served. The bar staff were friendly and great at suggesting options. Recommend for after work drinks/food. Good location with a prohibition style decor.

This was by far one of the best selection of cheeses I have had on a cheeseboard. I highly recommend ordering the chefs 3 cheese selection. Their house Pinot Grigio was the perfect wine pairing for this cheeseboard. I also recommend trying their Monet’s Garden cocktail. The staff are friendly and attentive. I would advise making a booking. It’s a great date night venue. Overall, cozy ambience and great tunes playing in the background.

Bonjour bad boy, arrived to meet this french loaded fries aka lobster frites butter sauce. It was the highlight of my night, along with trying caviar for the first time.

Kittyhawk is one of the coolest bars I have been to in Sydney! The menu is insane, with a huge variety of whiskeys available, with amazing cocktails. I recently hosted a birthday there, and the food was brilliant too! The staff are all amazing, but in particular Paris who is not only an amazing cocktail maker but super friendly and sociable. If you are either looking for somewhere for a nice meal with brilliant drinks, or looking to host an event, I could not recommend Kittyhawk enough. You certainly won't regret it!
