I attended the 2022 Mary's House Gala Dinner at Doltone House Hyde Park.
There was a very large crowd with some great live entertainment and nice food.
There are several large screens with good resolution, which helped with the presentations and speeches.
The room is large with high ceilings and arched windows that frame a lovely aspect across Hyde Park.
We supplied a DJ and an acoustic artist last Saturday at Doltone's house. The food was great and staffs were very helpful. Mia, the Senior event coordinator and team assisted us very well especially during the planning stage. Instructions were clear and over all it was a smooth process. Hope to work with the team again soon.😊
Dolton House always play the perfect hosts for all the functions I have attended at many of their venue. This Hyde Park location is no different with great views over Hyde Park from some rooms. The food is always good whether they are doing Canapes or full sit down meals. This visit was a great test to their cooking skills as they had Thai Inspired dishes due to the function being for Thai Tourism. Delicious salads and a great variety of main dishes to go with the rice, from beef, chicken and a crispy whole fish. Great service from the wait staff with water bottles on the table always replaced and glasses topped up. A very reliable event host.
Highly recommend! The whole process of booking the venue for my reception couldn't have gone any more smoother. Staff members were attentive and went above and beyond throughout the whole process. Delivered exactly what my partner and I wanted and assisted us with our special requirements. We are glad that we chose Doltone House Hyde Park to host our special day.
Great atmosphere, didn't get to take photos of their amazing canapes which were summer rolls, lamb skewers and dumplings. The bottomless drinks were served by very professional waiters. Good food/drinks and atmosphere sure did make the night very special.
One of a few other Doltone Houses in Sydney, the Hyde Park property is on Level 3 of 181 Elizabeth St, next to the Sheraton. Like most buildings in the vicinity, this building is a heritage structure with ornate stone work and magnificent chandeliers.
I’ve been to all the Doltone venues for corporate events. Their catering is excellent and so is the service. Lunches and Dinners are top notch and the staff look after guests well.
4 stars to this Doltone House because the age of the building is being to show on the carpets, rickety chairs and the squeaky floor boards.
