Stopped by for an afternoon pick me up. Located on Macquarie Street. It seemed quite popular with lots of people dining in and a short queue for takeaway coffee. Seating available inside and outside.
I had a Mocha and it tasted quite nice. The size is average and could definitely get better value for money closer towards me.
I noticed the coffee game is strong here. Baristas move quickly and service is efficient yet friendly. Cappuccino ($3.50) using a dark roasted Espresso di Manfredi blend is strong and full bodied with a slightly bitter flavour. Not quite sure if I like it but it certainly cuts through the milk. Two eggs with toast ($7.50) is reasonably priced and the scrambled eggs are done well. Nice tasting rye toast with butter served on the side. There's some seating inside if you don't mind the constant banging of the coffee grinder dispenser or enjoy the outside seating on a nice day.
A high score for superb coffee art. Lately, I've been a bit disappointed in my coffee art, which I count as a frivolous but authentic pleasure of living in Sydney. So, receiving my large latte this morning with whatever this is put a smile on my face. Also, for some reason, the design of Beanbah really appeals to me, tall ceiling and a clean and open space, with nice seating outside, rather a perfect place to have a coffee after my appointment at the dentist, a few buildings down.

Friendly to participants:). Cafe Beanbah is a friendly place to occupy for a while, even meet together. Nice coffee! Haven't tried the food yet: will be back for that. Owner Robert and worker Dave are helpful and kind. Great spot for the 99%.
My wife and I had coffee and muffins at Beanbah Espresso on a tour of Sydney downtown. This little cafe is right next to the Law Courts so no surprise there are many lawyers frequenting the place for a morning jolt of caffeine. The coffee is superb and so are the sweets. Table service is friendly and helpful. Inside and outside tables. A pleasure to visit this place!

Friendly service, good coffee and delicious treats. Beanbah is a great place to grab a meal on busy Macquarie street. With outdoor seating this place is excellent in the summer or winter.

Awesome banana bread and coffee after admission ceremony. Good dumpling soup for lunch for office workers around. Also honey citron/ginger tea to keep me going when feeling down
