Marco is a veritable wine genie. Dependant on your mood he can match a wine accordingly. Hot weather, but you love a red - he'll find that perfect rose for your palate. Never once been disappointed, and now this is my go to place to take friends visiting the innerwest.

Marco is a knowledgeable sommelier from Italy. I have a great time chatting with him.

Price are very reasonable.

Lovely place great wines, that are not overly pricy. Great that you get a little snack with each wine. The sommelier here knows his stuff. You can buy take away wine here also.

Loved this place! It's uber welcoming and cosy inside. They provide great recommendations and Omg - the wine is excellent. We had a light red - a rose like pinot?) - Alicante followed by Primitivo 👌

Marco is a fabulous host - I'll definitely recommend and return!

The City Lane

Cittavino Newtown is a wine store with a twist – between the two exposed brick walls which are stocked with wines from around the world is a large bench with seating for 40 people.

Really love little wine bar, very chic and a nice atmosphere to talk and not feel over wrought by music or load people.

Great wine selection with a team that really know what they are serving and how to match that to your taste. Love the nibbles.
