You know the food is good when the vegetables alone taste great. The dining experience is so amazing. The food here is insanely good. Don’t think twice. Just go.
This place was buzzing on a Saturday night. Looks like a great addition to the bar and dining scene in Redfern. Love the name of the cocktail 'The Career Change' with Montenegro, Aperol, Ginger Beer, Lime ($16 on menu, $14 on bill) and had lovely flavours the Mrs was happy with. We'd happily order this one again. I ordered a classic Hanky Panky ($16) off the menu which the bartenders did a good job of. One of my favourites these days when I'm craving something different to my usual Negroni. The Ocean Trout Tartare - nori crisp, wasabi mayo, pickled daikon, white onion, shiso, sesame ($22 on menu, $19 on bill) is gluten free and had plenty of tasty flavours. Be warned there's a decent hit of wasabi too. Service was friendly and professional and good to discover the chef from the Morris in Paddington is working here. I love her style of food. Definitely hope to return when I get a chance to try more of the menu and their cocktails.
Stopped by this bar while visiting Sydney and super glad we did. Cozy ambiance with amazing cocktails. Recommend the pina colada & the passionfruit margarita. I also have to admit that I tried to recreate the margarita at home but it did not live up to Bart Jr's. Drop in on Wednesday to get delicious oysters.
Loved it. We sat at the bar (which I am normally not a fan of) and I really enjoyed it. The food was incredible and the staff had great banter. Listed as a new favourite for me for sure. Will be recommending this to everyone.
Recommend to sit outside on a clear day! Food portions were a lot bigger than we expected, so food wise it was value for money and super yummy. Cocktail options are limited but the martini was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place for a cute date night, first date or catch-up with a group of friends!
An intimate dinner setting for old friends, new friends or lovers ❤️ We enjoyed (a couple) bottles of Sauv Blanc 🥂with a delicious spread of share plates between four. We started with the olives 🫒, focaccia (which had a divine chilli butter), fritters (which were doppelgängers of aranchini), halloumi (the toppings was just 🤤), followed by pipis, fries and the beef brisket!
The entire culinary experience was wonderful and I’ll definitely be back 🥰
Great cocktails and ambience. Funky little spot for a catch up with friends.
The food for the most part was really good except the steak which was tough and incredibly chewy. However everything else was very tasty mainly the haloumi and the anchovies on toast.
The food and service here is incredible. I could have ordered another serving of the lamb ragu but will just order strategically next time and not share! We also ordered the best bottle of wine, took a photo so we could order again!
