Xihuahua 🐶 suggested this bar upon finding a 50% off coupon for it, also she said the fish fillet and steak was good during her lunch. I think this place got rather expensive dishes without the discount. Upon visiting I realized they served very small portion size... On huge plates. But at least the calamari was plentiful. Could use some more mayo tho. The calamari is fresh and tasty. King trout was good, I could have done the same job tho... Zucchini spaghetti under the fish had a strange dressing which I did not appreciate. The cherry tomato on the dish was very good, it tasted creamy!!!
Down and under pinot white wine was fruity and dry, lightly bitter, I really liked it! The sirloin was a very tasty one. They had a fantastic grill and selection of meat. The side potato is good but could be softer. Mushroom sauce is pretty good but not enough.
I have to say they got excellent cooking and good ingredients. But they are asking for too much money with such small portions on pretty much everything we ordered! The staff is friendly and happy when they work, especially the boss who invited in guests in himself and sing a little tune from time to time while working. It seems to me that he takes running the restaurant as his hobby rather than a business.
I can say they got the best steak in Sydney !!! Michael, the manager looks after us really well. Best customer service!!! Every dishes we ordered were so delicious and couldn’t fault any. Our favourite, of course the steak, so tender and juicy. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back. The view from our table was also lovely and the Blue Moon beer is definitely the right companion for the steak.
Had a great night with girls here, fabulous cocktails 🍹 and atmosphere finished off with delicious wood fire pizzas in the restaurant downstairs 🙋
