OMG This wholemeal Toast was best ever I've had in Sydney. Crispy and Soft. I'll try another one later. Highly recommed.
Nice little cafe/sandwich roll shop. Had the meatball panini. Good amount/variety of fillings. Bread was nice and crunchy. Really small shop with a little seating area outside
Ordered off Hey You and went with a workmate to this hole in the wall eatery. There was a special on their Premium Meatball Sandwich With Napoletana. The sandwiches were ready when we arrived and they had a few chairs and tables so we decided to eat our sandwiches there. Service is friendly. The bread was nice and crunchy on the outside but had a soft interiors. Meatballs were flavoursome and combined with cheese, napoletana sauce, pesto, and aioli, it was a delicious match and definitely worth the walk there in the heat.
Came here to purchase meal for take away. I had the premium meatball panini. Service was friendly, quick and efficient. The meal was quite tasty and came in good size.
Super friendly staff and cheap but good coffee. Super convenient location for me - just right outside my bus stop! Food is also very affordable here - would recommend!
Excellent coffee and bread, and quick service. The bacon and egg roll in the mornings are great- two eggs, short cut bacon and your choice of bread with bbq mayo, combine with a large coffee for only $8.
Small sidewalk frontage that's easily missed if you don't pay attention. My takeaway soy cap was smooth and well made. They use Campos beans which I'm partial to as the resulting coffee is pretty consistent from cafe to cafe.
Cracking lunch rolls here made fast and fresh. Bread had a great crunchy crust and soft interior and the crew are generous with the fillings. $10 well spent to get you through the work afternoon.
This place is what bacon and egg dreams are made of. Bacon and eggs are my favourite breakfast treat, whether I'm sober, hungover, brunching or dinner-ing, they suit every occasion in my life.
We all know it starts with the bread, and sourdough deliver a bloody good bread slathered in a delicious BBQ mayo, my heart was so happy.
The bacon was crispy and plentiful and the eggs cooked to perfection. I do prefer my eggs to be fried, so that would be the only downfall of this masterful bacon and egg roll. Great coffee and super friendly service.
The long queue at breakfast or lunchtime is a pretty good indicator why this is a Surry Hills institution. Definitely a must visit if you are looking for pastries, bread or a coffee. The pies, sausage rolls, and croissants are excellent and if you have a sweet tooth I recommend the chocolate sour cherry cookie, lemon curd tart, and the ginger crème broulee are excellent choices. It’s takeaway only so grab a picnic rug and enjoy the food nearby on the grass. And to avoid the long queue, best to go before 12pm!
I had a lemon curd tart and ginger brûlée tart . Love how the ginger tart tasted. It’s not overpowering sweet nor the texture is different. It has a delicate crispy texture and crunchy top layer. Overall it was good. Not the fan of the lemon tart, although the lemon in the middle is so smooth, the pastry is crunchy and perfectly blended not too sweet. I still prefer the ginger. It is quite on the pricey side though. The tarts are $6 and the chocolate drink is $5 😳 !
Quiet little corner spot. I noticed a queue but it moves fast so have your order ready. Be early or things will be sold out. Great coffee, delicious sourdough bread, and friendly staff.
Lovely place with nice staff and yummy treats. The red wine brisket pie was amazing, and the coffee is one of my favourite in Sydney. There was quite a line when we went but it was worth the wait. Will happily be back again to try more of their food for brunch as they look so good. Currently only doing takeaway but had a nice picnic at the nearby park
Excellent quiche, egg flavour was soft on the inside with a hard but not flaky crust. Perfect quiche. The croissants were amazing and the coffees went well with them all. Pastries to die for.
I love the Bourke St Bakery. I have often had a coffee and something to eat after a run, sitting in the park opposite. The food is great, the service is just as great. I love everything about the place. Well worth a visit.
Pastries to die for. Loved eating their crossiant and pear danish! This place is definitely worth the line up.
Great coffee and bakery!
There’re many types of bakery. Shop looks cosy and staffs are friendly!
Ginger tart is recommended.
