Really really good restaurant! Food was delicious and unique and staff were very friendly. Pleasant atmosphere and yummy drinks. Would definitely come back again!

KL kitchen is one of the few Malaysian restaurants operating in the Potts Point/Darlinghurst area. It's situated on beautiful Lankelly Place, one of Sydney's newest food hubs, conveniently tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Potts Point/Kings Cross.Tonight The Counts were dining with some dear friends, all so well-travelled, their experiences have taken them across every culinary spectrum, from street food to fine dining and everything in between all over the world. They are great company and we love having dinner with them.
Usually I run scared of places with enormous menus but these guys seem to get all those options right. Just a great little midweek takeaway spot... I forget about it, very unassuming, which gives me a pleasant surprise every time I go there!

Monsoon7. We were lucky enough to find this little GEM a few years ago and now have become regulars on most weeks.
The food is sensational and we try a new dish on recommendation from the staff and are still working through a great list of choices.
The location of the restaurant in Lankelly Place is a vibrant laneway which has a character of its own. We find that part of the charm of dining here.
Great Food, great selection and great location`- we love it !
The restaurant is BYO, which is a plus, but pretty small so not a spot for big boozy get-togethers. The alfresco dining in Llankelly place would be nice in summer and KL Kitchen also offers takeaway for those who just can’t be bothered to cook tonight – it’s a pretty good alternative to Thai.

Great little restaurant in the lanes of the X. Good selection of dumplings, would recommend going for the 10 piece to sample. I had the Beef Chow mein, tender beef and tasty noodles, my partner had the prawn laksa, was dilicious, right amount if spice! All in all a very enjoyable meal.
Delicious. Nice down to earth, fast service, delicious food, BYO. Great for an affordable quick bite.
Yummy.. Great steamed pork buns, great jasmine tea, nice relaxed atmosphere. Good for an 'I-can't-be-assed-to-cook' dinner.
Excellent, authentic (but not cheap) Malaysian food and a congenial environment for casual eating. Beef Rendang, Char Kway Teow and Roti were all very good.
Coming from the dining scene of Melbourne, I can say that KL Kitchen is a restaurant which is among the best I have been to. They have a warm and friendly team of staff which attended to our every need. The portion sizes were great, although the Mama's curry could have been a bit larger. The flavours were exquisite and the pricing was fair. This is a must visit for a very enjoyable dining experience in malaysian-chinese cuisine.
Great food. Loved the roti and red beef curry,was simply amazing. Customer service was great. We took our dog for the outdoor seating and was perfect. Dumplings are to die for. If you haven't tried them you can even order online.
