amazing taste!order the famous fried chicken!the crispy chicken filet with special peanut butter sauce!must try!the fired noodle also delicious!
The portions are huge here, to match the higher than average prices this side of Chinatown. The flavour is decent too - curries are moreish, though the spiciness of the tom yum soup seems to have been toned down, probably for Australian eaters.
The only gripe is that the waitress seems to have a small issue understanding us when we order - we had to repeat the order a few times to make sure we were all on the same page. Otherwise, it was mostly efficient, and a cosy restaurant to hang out in for dinner.
Having been to Satang Thai on Quay street before, I am expecting very similar food and services. The food is still top notch, big portions, tasty and delicious. But the service is a bit lacking as it took us about 30 minutes to get our food (which is mainly curry rice/fried noodles). The menu is also big but mainly of stuff I already tried, so there is nothing really new about Satang. I guess this is a good place to drop by but with so many other quality thai resturants nearby Satang hasn't impressed me so far.
This is the best Thai restaurant in Sydney. Very good food, staff very friendly, and quality 5 star. Always happy to have a dinner here.

My favorite Thai place in the town!
I highly recommand the place, they are so friendly!
And the red curry is simply amazing!
There are lots of choice.
Being a vegeterian, I am fond of Thai food. Went with my spouse and tried Vege Tom Yum noodle soup here and I was in different world. It was really good. A must try.
The food is really delicious and prices are really good!
The curries are just awesome and the portions are big enough for hungry people.
Another good thing, the restaurant is BYO.
All good for Satang Tuck Shop!!!
Great little place at a very reasonable price! New name, now called "Jo Thai". Food is delicious, totally recommended!
