They can make you special indian chai (tea) even though it's not there on the menu.
This place is my all time favourite now have been there 3 times in last two weeks just loved the food presentation and super friendly staff.

I used to love Indian food and it’s the most innovative Indian cuisine I’ve ever tried. Me and my friend ordered the tasting menu, so we didn’t even know what dishes would come up because they’re all chef picked/ seasonal. N the main also gave us a chance to taste all the curry that they have. Dessert was a very interesting ice cream stick. Overall, me and my friend love it very much, all their dishes surprised us, but their potion was a bit too big n they restricted that everyone on the same table need to order tasting menu. So we can share it and order something else. Overall, we paid about $75 per head with a glass of red.
Located at Surry hills... it’s a good place for indo-Asian food... they have a variety of drinks here too...
If you are looking for a full course meal then you should try the chefs tasting menu
In that you get a thali full of curries and naan and rice and sweets....
We ordered a beetroot paneer tikka and a samosa chaat in appetisers...
The tikka was tasty...
the chaat could’ve been better....
We also ordered 3 thalis
2 veg and 1 non veg
Food was delicious and very filling.
The presentation was very nice.
However the service was very slow....
We had to wait too long before we were served our drinks as well as our food...

Stunning Curry, Judy like the Indian Mauritian curry I’m used to, casual relaxed vibe and great staff, a must fir anyone wanting to savour Surry Hills and enjoy great food and a friendly atmosphere
This place in Surrey hills serves both excellent food and variety drinks. However we were just there to eat and really enjoyed the food. Thus making it my first review in Sydney.
Excellent service, very well done Indian ambience, good food. Enjoyed their hospitality.
Must try samosa chat and Malai kofta.
Other dishes we tried were tandoori fish, beetroot paneer, ghosht curry with Indian breads that were excellently cooked too.
Very late review. Went for a $10 buffet lunch with colleagues. I am not sure if the offer is valid anymore. Absolutely loved the ambience and the food. Good assortment of Indian dishes that tastes amazing. Highly recommended.
Food was really good -the papadi chat was fresh and the curries delicious. Loved the blue cheese naan. The only thing that let this place down is the service. There is such a thing as too attentive and it felt like we were being pushed through. As soon as we were done eating they cleaned our table as we sat there. As soon as they cleaned they asked if we wanted the bill. It runs the experience a little

Amazing experience just tried chefs tasting menu.. good experience.. few things just made me crazy. Its entree 1 was padi chat, 2 was gobi manchurian.. was amazing.. i really love chicken tandoori with mango salsa n the dips really fantastic.. with main course really good.. the dessert that was the woow factor of Don’t Tell Aunty.. cinnamon masala chai kulfi wow.. really amazing n at end some cotton candy.. cool thanks for the lovely dinner
Had the banquet, scrumptious selection of curries, a generous serve of about 8 or so for the main. Loved the ice cream tubes for desert as well. Yummy
I love this place. First time going there with my friends and we truly love it. The food, the vibes & the pictures on the hall was amazing. We did the tasting menu $70 per person option, because we wanted to try all the food. And lord it was amazing. The customer service was amazing. Everything about this place was amazing. Definitely recommend this place.
Delicious food and drinks. Fun colourful decor. Friendly staff. We had the tasting menu and everything was so tasty. Portions were huge and we were so full. It was my birthday and they made it special and played a birthday song at the end too. Great place to catch up with friends with the fun vibe. Would recommend !
So happy with my experience here! Had high expectations coming here and they were definitely fulfilled! A bit on the pricier side ($30 per curry) and the serving sizes look small, but they definitely left you full and satisfied, and that garlic naan bread is an absolute must! The service is nice and friendly, and the interior is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely recommend!
Visited on a Tuesday night and it was completely packed (if you plan on visiting, I suggest you making a reservation). I have to say that this is one of the best butter chickens I have ever had. It was definitely the highlight of our meal, hence the 5/5. We also got a lamb curry and naan platter. The platter was a good option as we got to try 3 different flavors: garlic, plain, and sesame. The lamb curry was average. This place is $$ (30$ per curry) so maybe come with friends if you want to try more options.
Went for drinks and light meal with friends. We've heard so much about this place and it clearly didn't disappoint. The cocktails were amazing, the food especially the Pani Puri and Lamb were so good. Pretty interior to chill out with friends. Definitely recommend this place for a good modern Indian food and unique drinks
This is no doubt one of the coolest Indian restaurants in Sydney. Visited on a Tuesday night and it was like a weekend at any other place, so make a reservation- it’s very easy through GMaps. The food is definitely something you have to experience - go with an empty stomach and ready to eat as much as your budget allows. Cocktails are also interesting. And if you’re looking for an interesting dessert try the Kulfi Ice Cream (not pictured)
We were looking for a place to satisfy our craving for authentic Indian cuisine for the last 4 years in Melbourne but couldn’t find any. This place in Sydney is the closest it can get. Amazing food with perfect flavours and great vibes! We enjoyed our night here and definitely coming back next time in Sydney.
