One of the best breakfast I’ve had.
Simple coffee and pastry do the job, I’m happy.
Piccolo was awesome, and the pastry, what I think is the “seasonal danish” section was amazing.
Love it!
As you can imagine, you can never really go ‘wrong’ with baked goods, the alexandria branch I believe has the bread house as well as an attached cafe. There’s a wide range of brekkie dishes, sandwiches and of course bread. In this instance we took it to go, almond croissant ($5), pain au chocolat ($5), pork/fennel sausage roll ($7) and a chilli/ garlic sourdough twist ($6.50). The croissants are good but pretty standard (tastes better when lightly toasted), the sausage roll was good (nice fennel flavour and juicy filling), but the star was the sourdough. Such a nice yeast flavour, great by itself but would have been even better with a bruschetta or dip of some sort. Highly recommend this!
Good experience with fresh and affordable brunch selection. Nice deco and beautiful staffs with smile. Definitely will recommend it! I love the seeded baguette and all foods ordered taste surprisingly nice. Thank you.
Been here a few times and consistently great coffee. Love the baguettes as well. Haven’t had a chance to try the food yet but keen to come back for it.
Got there way too late for breakfast (a bit disappointed as really wanted to try their French Toast or Chilli Ricotta scramble eggs). They also ran out of pies by the time we got seated. There's a bit of wear with the furnishings as the cover of couch we were sitting on most of the faux leather were peeled off. Service was a mostly ok, but not really the most friendly. Aside from these the food were quite nice. I had enjoyed my haloumi burger, the chips were very moorish, as with my friend who got the Blackmore Cheese Burger. A bit out of the way unless you live around the area or visiting in the vicinity.
Lovely friendly staff and beautiful food. Eggs cooked to perfection, beautiful sourdough and amazing butter. Not to mention delicious coffee 😍
I don't normally like to eat bread but I definitely don't mind a visit to Sonoma for a cheeky snack. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly, and they do quite nice coffee. I always get the Avocado on toast, simple and predictable but it never disappoints.
Had Breakfast at Sonoma Bakery Cafe recently and I loved it! I had the Pimenton poached eggs, the paprika smoked labneh with burnt butter is so good and moorish! And the sourdough bread (which they are famous for) is amazing. Friendly service as well! The only drawback was the pastries we ordered, didn't quite like them. Definitely be back for the brunch!
Absolutely fantastic coffee , and the bread is amazing!! Beautiful café setting, efficient service from very friendly staff Highly recommended
Went there for a coffee and breakfast. Were not disappointed, friendly staff, good food, good coffee. The only improvement I would suggest is the quality of the coffee beans. Coffee was a bit bitter.
The cheese and ham toastie is EVERYTHING! Oh my gosh, so so so good, best I’ve ever without an doubt. The onion jam is yum. The cold brew coffee is energising, nice shot of caffeine but refreshing. The store is clean, modern, industrial. Staff is super efficient and friendly. Eat in and take away options. Parking in the area is difficult but there is a click and collect service which is great for passing through on the way to work etc.
Their mission loaf is one of my favourite sourdoughs I've tried yet. The crust is extra dark and flavourful but the middle is super soft, moist, airy and spongy. You can get a half-loaf which is great because the whole loaf is about half a meter long and very wide. They will also slice it for you now!
Lovely roomy well laid out cafe with delicious artisan bread and pastries to choose from.
Good coffee! ☕️ A bit hit and miss with staff. Mostly good. Had an interesting experience with one vague server who took my cash for 2 coffees and 2 croissants (I told her to keep the change) but she only recorded the coffees on the receipt for the barista and when I asked the barista for my croissants once the coffee was made she said I mustn’t have paid for them because they weren’t on the order. When I asked if 2 coffees would normally cost $20.00 something must have twigged because the initial server did get me my croissants but I’m still not sure if she remembered and no apology. All felt a bit weird really but still good coffee and something to talk about when I got back to the apartment!😊
Fantastic hidden coffee place, nice, comfortable, good chill music ideal to start off the day with good mood
The BEST lamingtons ever!
The mission loaf and avocado toast (with the extras) is also really good.
Good Espresso and great pastries. The bacon and egg roll is the 💣‼️
Had a wonderful time and excellent service at the Sonoma café. The bread for the Reuben sandwich was crunchy and fragrant, really well balanced. The rigani fries from the fish burger were some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The staff were very accommodating to our food specifications with the burger (allergy to avo) and even jazzed up the greens after removing the avo to balance out the burger! But the sour dough donut with creme patisserie was a tad dense and underwhelming
What a find and a great way to soak up last nights fun if you know what I mean. This place sort of reminds me of Tivoli Road Bakery & Baker D.Chirico in Melbourne for the breads and pastries. Had to have a breakfast pit stop before a loaded day around Sydney with fam & friends. Perfect breakfast showcased on their artisan bread washed down with a great coffee. Also got to take some goodies home for later to snack on. Awesome cafe!
