Great Food. Great Service. Great Prices.
This is by far the best Lebanese experience in Australia! Yeah it’s a big call but wait until you try, I guarantee you will feel the same way!
Maybe the oldest Lebanese in Sydney and it took me this long to get there but it was worth it. Juicy meat, rich felafel and great staff. The standard menu but it seemed like they failed at nothing and we pigged out at a moderate price.
Best kebabs and chips in Redfern. Chips are much like traditional British chips ( so not to everyone’s liking) friendly, family run atmosphere.
Great traditional Lebanese with old school atmosphere. Would recommend the mixed plates & their ladies fingers are to die for. The only let down is their sweets
Although the service isn't great, the food is simple but consistent in quality and it tastes amazing for the price point. One of my treasured favorites because it has yet to let me down!
Just dined at Wilson's, the food was delicious. This place is a landmark. Great service, this Lebanese cuisine is amazing, we ordered a $35 banquet for six people, the food just Kept coming we were delighted to eat fresh home made food. We even tried their delicious
Mouth wateringTurkish delight and baklava at $3 a piece. Loved the place.
You won't be disappointed at all. We will certainly return.
New addition to our rotation. I had a hankering for something a bit different. Our normal routine is a rotation between Spice I Am, Mohr Fish and Holy Cow. Wilson's popped up as a option within walking distance, so we gave it a go. I checked for ordering tips on FourSquare, only to find something about forgiving the service and decor because the food was excellent. I totally agree. We grabbed a bottle of wine to exploit the BYO option, and found that Wilson's is certainly worth adding into the routine. Three dips of hummus, babaganoush and labne were great to start over soft bread. Mixed grilled meats were all cooked excellently and we were overall quite happy with the meal. We'll certainly go back.
Great place, the food is delicious. The service is fast. Enjoyable Lebanese food.
Superb. This place is one of the treasures in redfern. Great traditional food,
Very mixed feelings here. The restaurant is cosy and comfortable with a great menu. The execution of some of the dishes however, isn’t great. The tomato based dishes lack any spice or depth of flavour. The lamb was a workout to chew. The babaganoush had none of the promised smokey flavour, and the “labneh” was more like sour cream. However, the falafel were excellent, and the hand cut chips were addictive. They know their way around a fryer. The staff were incredibly difficult to track down. Even if you get a hold of one of the runners, it’s no good.. the manager is the only one who will take your order, and she’s hard to come by. Besides all of this, the restaurant is still a 4 star to me, it’s got a certain something that other Lebanese restaurants just lack. Worth a try.. if you do, order differently than I did.
We loved how authentic this restaurant is!
What you see is what you get and it’s such a charming family owned business. We found all of the food to be delicious and serving sizes were more than enough for two people to share. The lamb for main was insane - so damn good !
Wow, amazed by Lebanese cuisine🥺💕🫶 enjoyed the tomato based menu stuffed eggplant, kafta casserole,
Spicy butter beans just delicious.🫶 heart to your service, thank you wilson’s restaurant
These people have been doing this for a very long time. The menu is authentic, the food is good and the price is right. All this with friendly service. Why not ?
Delicious food every time! Wilsons is perfect for large groups or just a casual dinner spot during the week. Highly recommend this local gem.
