I really liked the food here. Tom yum seafood was especially good. Nice and spicy with a good selection of seafood. Staff are very efficient and follow all social distancing rules.
This place is just behind the world square. You've got to try out their special starters, fruit shakes and desserts!
Good place for group dinner. Plenty of space and food was quick to be served, especially the chicken Pad Thai. The fried icecream was very nice as well. Overall, am satisfied.
This is my first time eat at this restaurant. I ordered thai fried rice. I love their food. The taste is delicious and the portion is great. Happy tummy and yummy. The service is good.
Yummmy... That duck curry was to die for, seriously so so good. Duck was deep fried so crispy, sauce was so intense and deep in flavour. Other dishes were alright too.
I’ve never expected that this Thai restaurant was so generous that every dish I had was pretty large servings.
The restaurant located at level 2 of the civic hotel. I’ve never spotted it until I came across on Zomato. The restaurants have many seatings available. Suitable for either 2-3 people or big groups.
[Thai fish cake] $9.9
We start from this dish. The fish cake was thick. It was served with spicy sauces.
[Banana Flower Salad w crispy chicken] $16.9
Strange salad, in Thai style. Corridor, lemongrass, shallot, cashew nut and so on.
[Crab meat fried rice] $16.9
The serving was toooo big. We two can only finish half of it. The taste of the fried rice is OK, but not special in my opinion.
Wow. We have been on a really good run of restaurants of late and Peppercorn @the civic is no exception. This joint is our new favourite Thai restaurant, although it’s really more Laotian. Our run of visits to good restaurants is partly due to some great apps on the market at the moment. We have used Pokitpal a number of times lately, no vouchers needed, just visit one of their venues use your registered mastercard and the discount amount will be credited to your account. This app is ideal for a business lunch situation.

Although Peppercorn is slightly far from the cbd vicinity it's worth going! I've been a few times and like how the food has good flavour and are decently priced. They have interesting drinks, the one we ordered was served in a tea set! The apple salad was exactly what I wanted, refreshing and light. The fried icecream was amazing! The outer coating was crispy and the portion was very generous. I like the added toasted coconut for texture. The let down were the pandan pancakes which were drenched in syrup and were so sickly sweet we did not finish them.
It's good thai food place! The place is casual but modern atmosphere, and the price range is great too.
I generally have curry or pat thai, I love both. Food come out quickly, can use for quick lunch or relax dinner.
Thaitastic at Peppercorn
A Thai restaurant lies hidden in Civic hotel lies a great restaurant that serve awesome Thai food. I had a great experience dining there and would come back again. The staff was friendly, the environment feels Retro and the food was spot on!
I had chili jam fried rice with beef, we also got the Thai beef salad but forgot to take a picture. They gave us a pretty good serving and by the end of your meal, we were satisfied.

My first visit and now Peppercorn is my to-go when I crave for Thai food. The service was friendly, the deep fried prawns were fresh and crispy yet not oily at all. The green curry had the right consistency and a good portion of veg in it..The peppercorn soft shell crab was a killer. Again the deep fried skills were perfect. The peppercorn stir fry veg was absolutely addictive. The only little letdown was the Singha beer. It didn't taste fresh or smooth. Next time I will order the Asahi tap beer.
Perfect food, comfortable environment and excellent customer service. I am a happy customer!
I haven’t been back to this place recently, so I decided to re-visit this place again.
Well, all foods were delish, so for last night dinner, we had,
Pork knuckle, it was succulent and crispy at the same time.
Waiter asked, if we want chef to cut it up, and we are agreed. Presentation still looks very appealing!
Chicken feet salad...this is new dish for me to try.
Unbelievably soft texture and the condiment and sauce goes very well, even though dressing might be a little sour for some people.
And stir fry vegetables with ginger and duck meat.
Amazing!
Great services and nice Thai food with a bit of fusion! Make sure you try their dessert menu too!
Visited again on the 19th Jan. Though quieter than usual, still delicious with superb services
Great atmosphere and service. Decently priced for the food and the atmosphere.
Recommended to make a booking if you go on a Friday night.
Fried ice cream is a hit. Only other Thai place that serves fried ice cream is at Holy Basil (that I know of).
A well decorated and very spacious restaurant. The restaurant is always buzzing with customers as their food is absolutely wonderful. Their menu is extensive and the service is next level. The flavours in their food are genuine representations of true Thai food. I have re-visited this place many times and I highly recommend the Massaman Lamb Shank curry and definitely don't forget to order a Banana Flower Salad
Good Thai food, reasonably priced. It was not busy when I got there early in the evening. Curry was very flavorful. Portions are ok. Over all, good
Good value. Solid Thai food offering. The crispy snapper served on a mountain of green papaya salad was the most mouthwatering dish. We were there on a Sunday for lunch and it was very quiet, apparently because all their Sunday orders are through uber eats!
