We walked past and noticed this beautiful restaurant and bar, decided to take a look at the menu for lunch. Glad we did. Food was good and big portions. Thanks for the friendly service :-)
Schnit: Chicken Schnitzel, $18.
Great crisp crumbling with a real crunch. Decent chips but no salad, sorely missed. Overly creamy pepper sauce. Chicken was nice and juicy, but the sides and price point are where this one gets let down. Could be better, but we'll be back.
Here for a quick lunch and went with the wagyu beef burger. Very glad I did.
Fair warning, the burger is tall so expect to use a couple of napkins. Just the way a burger should be.
Meat was tender, broke apart rather easily and it was salty enough. Cheese was melted over it and the bacon was perfect. Couple of issues, too much tomato and lettuce. I actually pulled out two thick slices of tomato just so I could have the one needed.
Chips were salty and crispy. Perfect on that front.
Would visit again as it's close to the office when I'm up here.
Excellent Food. We had dinner at The Windsor last night and the food was superb.
I ordered the Crispy Skinned Barramundi with Soba Noodles and Wasabi Sauce and got exactly what I order the fish was crispy skinned and was cooked exactly right the flavour was fantastic.
My Friend had the Risotto which she said was full of flavour....we will be back.
LOVE THE NEW WINDSOR HOTEL. The Windsor on Park's new menu and new vibe will definitely have me back again and again.
It's excellent menu selection with something for everyone is also great value for money. You must try the King Prawn Linguini. It is amazing. My boyfriend had the Rib Eye Steak which he said was one of the best steaks he's ever had.
The staff provide friendly, fast and efficient service and always have time for a laugh and chat.
The couches are super comfy and will definitely enjoy coming here to have a few wines and cocktails with the girls after work.
Great experience, I'm converted!. The new dining room at Windsor On Park blew me away with their menu, the head chef Laif is a real genius. The staff and surrounds were friendly, ambient and enjoyable too. I am a convert for sure!
Good place in the city for a few drinks, or some food upstairs. Unlike some nearby pubs, the Windsor is clean and bright with really friendly staff. Downstairs is typically a mix of locals and (mainly English) tourists.
Food menu on the second floor is good - the quality is great and it's served swiftly. Try anything with chips, they're really good! My only complaint is that there isn't a single vegetarian dish (unless you want a garden salad).
Location is good - just a block from Hyde Park and 2 minutes walk to town hall station.
One of the nicest watering holes in the cbd. Classy decor, big Windows and very bright during the day, always heaps of sport being played with TV's at all angles. Most importantly, the girls behind the are always friendly and the tap beer is always excellent
We visited Windsor in a Saturday afternoon and found it to be quiet and cozy. Food was alright - too much onion jam on the burger for my taste - but overall pleasant experience. Staff were lovely abd service was quick.
Just completed new renovations , city pubs offering great meals and drinks and well located meeting stop before heading off to another venue. Pub food with a TAB and also Pokies area.
