This restaurant has 2 levels and is quite popular with many Chinese people! I was surprised, literally. And this means that the food should be delicious and authentic since its a favorite for them. We didn’t shy away from ordering dishes we craved including: dumplings, eggplants and fried noodles!

as someone from the Jiangnan Rigeon in China, I approve Jiangnan Kitchen as an authentic Jiangnan cuisine. a must visit every time when I visit from Melbourne, as it reminds me of home.

I liked the food, moderately authentic. The whole atmosphere was good too, but the food was delivered a bit slow. The staffs are nice. I remember the portion is big, so it’s good for friends to share together.

The food here is mediocre Chinese food. I'm not too sure if it's the region of JiangNan... but there are better Chinese food options around. However... food is reasonably priced and portions are decent sized

Had Shredded pork with pancakes, braised eggplant, spicy pork chops. Very big servings, good quality and fast friendly service. Also had the spring onion pancake and spicy dumplings which were fresh and done very well

Located right on Goulburn Street near Sydney's Chinatown is Jiang Nan kitchen. Only 50 metres or so from Mamak, it is a perfect place to go grab some Chinese cuisine if you don't want to wait in the long lines for Mamak. Spread over 2 floors, there is usually plenty of tables even for bigger groups.

Finally decided to visit this restaurant for my birthday after seeing recommendation and passing by many times.
Spicy Chinese is one of my favourite cuisine. The dishes we ordered are mostly spicy. The level of spiciness is perfect that we were able to finish all the dishes. (Dishes we usually order at the other Chinese Sichuan restaurant always got too spicy to finish)
Food presentation is great. Restaurant looks clean. It was a nice place to hang out with friends on a casual night. Price is also affordable, $30-$35 pp get us really full. I can imagine this place gets really packed Friday and weekend nights for its quality of food and location.
I couldn't believe it took me so long to finally visit.
Jiangnan kitchen definitely has become one of my dinner destination for Spicy Chinese cuisine.

Authentic Chinese restaurant located on Goulburn street that has a modern and fresh feel. The space is open and on a Friday night it's packed! Customer service is attentive and the food comes out quickly. I highly recommend the fish in chilli oil.

Really nice find in Chinatown. Great authentic Chinese food in a modern venue. We ordered the spicy wontons, the shredded pork with pancakes, the shallot pancake and the chilli and cabbage salad. All dishes were delicious but the pancake was the absolute best. Nice and golden and crisp with a nice chewy texture in the centre. I'd go back just for that. Overall, a really great experience.

Love this little place in Chinatown. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are lovely. We ordered the stir fry beef with oyster sauce, wonton dumplings in spicy soup and bok choy. All dishes were fresh and full of flavour. The highlight though was the shredded pork in black bean sauce with pancakes which was incredible! I would go back time and time again just for this dish. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Chinese in the CBD!

MY FAVOURITE EXPERIENCE OF 2021. I loved the staff's hospitality, they were charming & provided very entertaining service. I went with my work family for a lovely celebration 🍾 ☺ Sensational fresh seafood options. 🦈🐟🌊 Killer lobster! 🦞 There were far too many dishes to count that I had that night, all well of great variety of proteins & vegetarian options. I long for their food! Thank you for your gracious service. 🙏

Loved it. Service was good and the quality of the food is excellent. You can really tell the freshness in the fresh produce and seafood/meat. Seafood is picked right out of the tank for you to see and they really know how to cook it. An excellent sellection of wine in their cellar too. International and a lot of Australian too. I can understand the hype and why Sydney's chefs come here after service.

Golden Century has been a popular Sydney Chinese restaurant for many years amongst locals and travellers. It is two levels and huge inside, with lots of tables perfect for large groups. There are even a few private rooms that can fit around 30+ guests. There is an escalator to the second level, which is where you can find the bathrooms. The food is delicious and comes out really quick and the service staff are pretty friendly.

Well known for their live seafood. We struggled to find a spot at year end due to the large crowds. Attentive staff. Food is always delicious. A real institution lasting for so many years and serving amazing Catonese food. Just on a bit pricey side ;-)

Good traditional Cantonese food. Efficient service. Amazing XO pippies with noodles and steamed fish. We went on a Wednesday night during the lunar new year period. It wasn't too busy. Shame about the YuSheng price was so high $118 for a small. Overall a good experience. $350 for four with five dishes and a bottle of wine.

A Sydney Institution and for good reason. Golden Century has been dishing up absolutely delicious Cantonese food for decades. Frequented by Sydneys top chefs, after knock off, it is a lunch time venue, dinner venue and late night venue. Wonderful for big groups with very generous serving sizes. Seafood always top grade and super fresh.

One of the best Chinese Seafood Restaurants in Sydney and they still got it. I've been here for the business meetings, for dates, for hangover cure and more. Duck pancake, crab, lobster and Pipis are fantastic here. So as long as you order these, you'll have a golden food journey.
