This is my favourite restaurant for black bean noodles. I also love the deep fried pork dish with sweet and sour sauce which is my top dish to accompany the noodles. They also do good fried chicken dishes (boneless) and spicy seafood noodle soup. The serving sizes are pretty big so definitely share!!
We use to have some fantastic Chinese Korean restaurant in city, but they've all got pushed out to Lidcombe area when the rent price sky rocketed. Arisan use to be great about 6 years ago but their menu got diluted so much that I no longer go there. Kao Kao is the only hope we have in the city area when it comes to good Jajangmyeon. I've stormed through Jajangmyeon and Gan Poong Gi. As expected, Jajangmyeon tasted great and although the coating on fried chicken in Gan Poong Gi was too thick for my liking, it tasted nice. I give this place 4 bears.
Simply great korean fried chicken. Tried the chilli garlic chicken and Prawn fried rice with black bean sauce. I would recommend this place.
When cravings for jjajangmyeon turn up, this is the place to go, always. Literally every single table orders the black bean noodles in this restaurant. It’s the most popular Korean-Chinese in the CBD for a reason. The food is great value and the servings are actually huge. You will leave this place full af.
Jajangmyeon was lovely. Chicken was really large in size and only $38!! They have lunch special. Recommended!! Also tried the sweet and sour pork and was also sooo good!
Lovely fresh food, big servings and very tasty! Only issue is that they bring out all the food at once which is a pet peeve of mine. I'll definitely be back though!
Highly recommended Korean Style Chinese Restaurant in the Sydney CBD. I love the atmosphere and the food. I would revisit the place again....
My favorite jajjangmyeon in town! They gave me a generous amount of sauce and the noodle was so good. It was chewy and really soft. Must try!. Cooked Seafood, Fried Veggies & Mustard Sauce - $29. Not my favorite, the mustard sauce was peppery and it tasted quite normal. The vegetables are fresh and the onion was quite decent. The seafood are also fresh as well. This dish is good for replacing salad because this is salad with a twist!
I like this one better than the seafood black bean noodle because it has less oil and you can taste the thick black bean sauce more. As the order before, they gave me tons of onions but it's a relieved that I love onions. Theirs' sauce is the bomb, probably the best black bean sauce I ever tasted. It was sweet and salty at the same time. It is a combination made in heaven with theirs' long and chewy noodle.

Had the A set with friends, chose spicy soup, jajangmyeon and fried chicken with garlic sauce.
The chicken was great. The sauce was very strong, which I personally like, but if you dont like strong garlic flavour I would definitely suggest one of the other sauces they have available.
The jajangmyeon was really good.
I didn't try the spicy soup but everyone else enjoyed it.
Theres only one side dish, pickled yellow radish (which I love) but that may come as a surprise to regular consumers of Korean restaurant food, as usually theres quite alot of side dishes provided.

Ordering was super easy! The food came out fast and fresh. The staff were really welcoming and nice all around, very helpful when we needed it.
The food was delicious. Ordered the Jajangmyeon and loved it. Super tasty, the pork was really nice and the noodles had the perfect flavour.
Also got the garlic chilli chicken and that was mouth-wateringly flavour-some! Paired with some kimchi it was very delicious.
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here, definitely a 10 out of 10 experience.
