Oh Mannnn... Japanese eat all you can for $29 already had me sold - and trust, it's well well well worth the price. I went with three friends and we LITERALLY ordered every item on that menu. The crunch rolls are sinfully delicious, basically avocado and chicken Katsu deep fried in cornflakes and layered with sweet mustard sauce. Another mention was the yakitori - simple karaage on a stick with sweet yakitori sauce. Get the sashimi boat and the volcano if you can - don't leave without it! Now while the food here was definitely far from traditional Japanese, and there seemed to be avocados on everything (I mean.. we're in Glebe.) it was definitely so enjoyable to adventure into everything and have a great time.

CONS: the cafe is very small though. Painfully small actually, and almost unassuming. Furthermore it gets busy easily, so your orders are not given together but in order they are prepared first. We'd have to wait about 8 minutes between each order, depending.

Not a traditional Japanese place, but the closest thing to it. I have been here multiple times and have tried their banquet on a couple of occasions.
Love the prawn tempuras, sushi platter, the range of hot-pots and gyozas. They also serve Sake which is worth a try if you like trying new stuff.
Amazing value for money.

A small, quaint Japanese restaurant located in Glebe. The service from the owner is exceptional, the other wait staff could be a little more patient but otherwise is good. Went to this restaurant that was recommended by family - we bought the $29.95 all you can eat buffet. This buffet style is different to a traditional buffet as you order as much as you want off the menu (excludes sashimi). We tried a variety of items and would highly recommend the tempura prawns. Our family's favourite was hands down the dragon roll which was made very well and was so delicious! Would recommend ordering the dragon roll if you visit Mori Sushi! The salads are also really nice too!

The food here is amazing and the atmosphere is very cosy. The soup of the hotpot is amazing, the quality of the fresh fish and the side menus were great. The service was good and their lunch menus and the beer day also makes a good combination and cheap as well! There's also a cosy outdoor area at the back we held a birthday party and it was very good because we were the only ones using it . Would like to visit again!

Great value restaurant. I feel
Extremely sad for Glebe and Surryhills in particular . Both areas are so quiet and they really deserved better businesses as there are so many amazing restaurants and cafes around ! Mori is one of those ,unpretentious good food and friendly service ! We come here quite often even though we live in the cbd. With many empty retail shops around , locals really need to come out to support ! All the best Mori !

Meeting up with my friend, we where looking for some All You Can Eat Asian food. It had been our thing while we travelled together and now, meeting up after a few months and celebrating my birthday, we had more than enough reasons to go for a big feast again. During our travels it wasn't easy to find an all you can eat restaurant like we know it from home. It seems like Ozzies don't really know the concept yet. You end up at a buffet/smorgasboard if you are lucky, but only in big cities as Melbourne and Sydney you will be able to find the All You Can Eat type as we Dutchies and Germans know it. Not a buffet style All You Can Eat, but order from the menu as often as you want!

Came here for lunch with a friend as we were visiting glebe and as the place was busy with people thought it was a good sign that the food was good. Ordered the teriyaki chicken be to box with rice, salad, gazoya and tofu. The serving was quite generous and made to order for $10 which I found good value for money. I came back here for dinner and this time had the kaarage don with rice, salad and BBQ sauce. The chicken was quite moist and tasted like deep fried KFC definitely needed for it to cool down as it was hot off the fryer not as good as the bento box meal but still satisfying. Will be back next time with a friend to try the all you can eat for $25 per person.

Great value for money. $40 all you can eat with no time limit and decent quality. We basically enjoyed everything we ordered- agedashi tofu, edamame, teriyaki beef, scampi nigiri and more. Sashimi was fresh. Eel nigiri was nice and smokey (different to the usual type of eel which is sweeter). Only dish that we didn't finish was the karaage chicken as it wasn't as crunchy as we would like.

Decided to try some local restaurants and found out this small Japanese restaurant. Went there as they have 4.3 ratings (from hundreds reviews) also with the affordable price from what we saw in the internet. The interior was okay. Nothing special. Only 5 tables available (Just knew that they are going to move out due to end of lease). Prices are totally different. Hasnt been updated in the internet. Pretty dissapointed with that as we came for their affordable price. Food was so good! Food portion for the bento set was a bit small for me. Not much meat portion and rice. BUT the taste was so goodd! WORTH IT. Sushi was really good for $23, 10 pieces and pretty big. Had the chance to talk to the owner, and she was so friendly. Will definitely come back when they are re-opened

Went here for a Japanese dinner and the food was so fresh and delicious. Tempura was so light, the sashimi was delicious and the teriyaki chicken was amazing. We even had a bottle of sake which was a really good palate cleanser and complimented the meal really well. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Recommended when in Glebe.

We went at 3pm on Sunday and it's quite empty at this time. Serving is quite fast. We had the Premium Buffet @ $49pp (Standard Buffet is $39pp). Ordered 2 plates of assorted sashimi and 3 plates of salmon sashimi. Sashimi came in thick cut and quite decent portion. Thanks for the nice and fresh king fish sashimi . Sushi platter is decent as well. Inside-out Sushi rolls on the other hand the toppings are very small and lots of rice. Hope to see some improvement in our next visit.

Love the food, especially the salmon ! Better to have reservations in weekend. The price is reasonable, $39 dollars for all u can eat in a menu, or $49 include a premium menu , dessert included at the end
