The service was pretty bad, I put this upfront.
Xihuahua 🐶 OTed and we were both very hungry after a long walk searching for dinner. Normally I am not a fan of yun nan rice noodles but since xi dog mentioned this again I decided to have a go again. Then I was totally sold on the rice noodles. My tomato beef noodle looked and tasted more like spaghet. The soup was fresh and thick with lots of contents. The sour cabbage fish noodle had tender fish but I think the sourness was not there.
Saliva chicken had great sauce but the chicken was a bit tough, the cut was too chunky. Overall a quite satisfying steaming hot din din for cold windy evening.
The spicy dry noodles were decent. They came in a good portion, was very filling towards the end. The sauce is Lao gan ma which made the dish pretty oily
Excellent customer service. Delicious food especially the Hot & numbling beef rice noodle soup.Comfortable ambience. Highly recommended when you miss Chinese food.
Hao hao ci, food very very very tasty, tasty likr noodle cooked by my mum, and I now miss my mum so much, cus she cant cook, this is the same smell.
Should try their Yunnan Signature rice noodle soup! The hot soup is extremely good during the winter or rainy time and super delicious. The portion is reasonably big.Friendly staff, will come back again.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in city, generous portions and tasty flavour worth to trying. The roasted chicken thigh and fried rice noodle get my heart.
Love their Stewed Fish rice noodle soup,so delicious!Others food are nice too, yummy and worth the price! And their staff was friendly, will come back again
One of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to in the city, in relation to the customer service and was delighted with how quick the meals came out, especially since we ordered a few of them.
I had the braised beef noodle soup.
Was not too spicy and the flavours were amazing, first time I had quail eggs and they were awesome !
Fairly reasonable price too, definitely coming back in the future.
Fresh noodles, delicious broths, large range of yummy side dishes. The restaurant has expanded and now has extra seating. Great for winter and still enjoyablein summer.
Enjoyed the Yunnan Signature rice noodle soup and husband loved the aniseed flavour of the braised beef rice noodle soup. The booths were comfortable, relieved we weren't offered stools.
I have eaten a lot of noodles here...
I recommend the signature noodle soup, and the small side dishes, especially the BBQ. The noodle soup is always satisfying. And the price is decent. It does get crowded at dinner times, but I always manage to get a table pretty quickly. And the service is generally polite to friendly.
Loved their signature deluxe mushroom noodle soup. Great taste and the portion. Soup was delicious and was served separately as it was my take away order. It was a great and healthy lunch. Recommended place.
Perhaps my mistake was the dish choice, but I found the soup slightly disappointing. The broth is clear and full of Sichuan pepper oil and chili oil. The broth is very numbing and medium chili. Noodles are decent. Did not appeal as much as the matching sichuanese dish but that does not speak to the quality of the food which was great. Standout star (not pictured) is the cold chili chicken entree which was excellent.
Rarely do I re-visit a restaurant twice on a tourist trip, but for this one I did, because the rice noodle tasted that good!
Located at the heart of Chinatown, Two Sticks is not those kind of fancy restaurant that will attract tourists attention. I have always been a fan of rice noodles, and been looking for one around Sydney. Beside the noodle, their fried crispy chicken is a must try as well. To top that off, their price-friendly milk tea at AUD 3.5 is a great drink to go along with the noodles.
🍡Must order🍡

Decent food, not bad price. The clay pot soup noodles are tasty. The fried noodles are unlike anything I've had before, very oily but still worth trying.
