With so many small bars opening up and trying to fight for they're own identity I can understand it's hard to come up with a new theme. I did really like this place, the staff were excellent and the food and drinks were amazing and you could even get a really decent house wine. I think it's still in it's growing phase as a bar and I look forward to going back in a little while and see how they've changed.

Cool little fit out, nice selection of beers in the fridge (Feral Brewing Co is always welcome) and the do make some powerful cocktails... I think the last one on the list, the "Grog Zombie" says it all. Play has the easy going vibe, gives out some seasoned popcorn for the table and it generally vibes the growing Redfern bar atmosphere

Excellent bar. Authentically excellent pizzas with vegan cheese available. On tap beers are well chosen. Home made spiced rum. Charming staff. Great décor.

I walked past this place a few times before I finally went in and my only regret is not going sooner. The staff are wonderful, they were totally welcoming, friendly and attentive. There is a only a small range of drinks and food – I think this is a deliberate decision the bar made and I agree with it because but everything on offer is prepared perfectly. I will return.

One of the best local bar in Redfern. I love the food and drinks here. Staff also friendly attitude and great service. I used to come here with my colleagues. But didn't get change since I moved. Must visit...

awesome craft beers, cocktails and the pizzas are so good. but not as good as the mini calzone, such a winner!

Great little local redfern bar, shuts at midnight, mulled cider is delicious using custard and co scrumpy, can get pizzas and it is all decked out using recycled crates
