Small bakery, however packed with delicious fresh pastries, as well as great baguette sandwich lunch options. Everything I have tried here was freshly baked - get in early as choice is rather limited for a late snack. The coffee is also more than ok, with cold drip available (as well as amazing cold drip mocktails). Service is friendly & efficient. One of my favourite quick lunch options in the Martin Place / Hyde Park area.

Handy bakery in the CBD to pick up some freshly baked croissants. This time I'm getting a couple of Baguettes ($2.20 each) for a simple dinner at home for the cheese platter. Simple sandwiches and a decent variety of pastries available. Staff friendly and helpful. For takeaways help yourself with the tongs to place your goods in the brown paper bags provided. Decent amount of seating available for dine ins.

Step down into this bakery cafe and you can see it sells a tempting selection of treats. If you didn't know it was there you can easily walk past it as it is located in the sub level of the corner of King and Elizabeth Sts.

The service is friendly and efficient here. Took me a while to decide what I wanted as there are lots yummy goods to be had. I bought a Cheese & Bacon Roll, Pear And Almond Cake, and a Cherry Danish. The roll was fresh and fluffy and studded with bacon and quite cheesy. The almond cake was delicious and very moist and buttery. The danish was crisp and flaky topped with a delicious custard and cherry mixture.

Lovely little cafe/bakery tucked away below ground level on King Street.. authentic flavours great service, quiet atmosphere. Good for a morning coffee run or a business meeting. Prices are reasonable and the coffee is very good. They also accept Hey You if you want to order ahead and avoid the queue!

Nice sandwiches and reasonable coffee. Nice french bread and friendly staff. Mostly tables for 2 but an undercover table for 6 out front. A little noisy from the street but worth a try. And if you need your Orangina fix they have it here.

So so so yummy! I've ordered a toasted croissant and it was simply delicious! Perfect! I wouldn't bother too much about the bad reviews when most of the people don't have knowledge about food: for example I'm Italian and I'm sick and tired to hear about spaghetti bolognese or spaghetti meatball (which do not exist), garlic everywhere and all those ignorant believes! In this small bakery you will find a small self-service area to grab take away bread and pastries. It's located a floor under the street level at the corner with King St and Elizabeth St. Considering the location and the quality of the food, they are not expensive at all! A lot of afternoon special too! Friendly and smiling customer service :)

A place I take my clients to make them feel special. You can walk past it without knowing which adds to the charm. The aroma from the bakery is to die for. Food and coffee are authentic. Staff are always cheerful especially Hazel!

I'm really impressed with the service, coffee and food. But most of all I appreciate the discount I receive for bringing my own cup and the fact that when I return a large number of trays I end up with a free coffee. It's great to see a community working together to encourage less waste.

I love this place. Wish they had a bit more variety but then I came in afternoon. Exceptional value for what you get. Other Cafes and similar patisserie place will charge around the $5-$8 mark on their cakes and pastries not to mention lindt and guylian cafes who charge more. This place you get same quality and better value! Expect to pay $3.50 for an exceptionally, soft and fluffy granola choc chip muffin with crunchy top. It was delish!! and the croissant omg so buttery and fluffy. The almond and fruit tarts in the $4 mark! Will come back and highly recommend to everyone. The coffee and chai latte is nice too!
