I had a lovely meal at The Oxford on the weekend, while catching up with some friends.
There were so many appealing meals on the menu but the Beef and Guinness pie really grabbed my attention - so I ordered that with a side of chips instead of mash. The beef stew was rich and full of flavour, and the pastry was nice and flakey - absolutely delicious. The chips were also really good. Service was prompt and the staff were very friendly (even turning on the AFL for me).
I do think the pie was a little expensive for the size of it but I was still full at the end of the meal.
One of the best chicken schnitzel and chips in Sydney!
Much Much Better!. We have lived around Drummoyne for about a year and a half and during that time this place seems to have gone through a few different changes. I must say, the most recent change is the best. It is now a comfortable and the food is delicious. Admittedly my partner is still upset that they no longer serve their ribs, however, we both were very satisfied with our meals. Just a hint, try the garlic bread!
