Food was tasty and arrived in a timely manner. We ordered bibimpap, egg baked tofu and Korean spring rolls. However servings weren't very generous. Service was good and ambience was dimly lit. It was a good experience overall, but I felt that I didn't receive much value for the amount I paid and servings were quite small!
No frills Korean, but damn good. The Kim chi is unlike any I've had before, it is crispy and mild but still full flavoured. Matched with sprouts it is a very good side dish. The seafood pancake here is off the hook, so good. It's lightly fried, doughy and subtly flavoured which allows the seafood to really sing. Then it's taken to another level when you dip it into the sweet and sour soy based sauce, which by the way is perfectly balanced.
Don't shy away from the dodgy looking exterior. Inside the service is warm and the food is quality stuff.
