I ordered the soft shell crab bao which came with asian slaw, fresh herbs and burnt chilli mayo. I did find it kind of expensive ($12) for what I received but the baos were delicious and full of flavour.

Great venue at The Streets of Barangaroo. Perfect choice if you’re into fresh, clean and healthy Asian style salads. They were busy with customers when we dined there but service was quick.
Dishes I’ve tried:
Coconut chicken buddha bowl
Korean beef buddha bowl
Hoisin pulled pork bao
Soft shelled crab bao
Everything was fresh and tasted pretty good even though I would prefer more sauce to enhance all the great flavours.

Must try their buddha bowls, the ingredients are fresh and taste delicious. Recommend to get the large size unless you're thinking of getting their bao with the small one.

I love how you can create your own Buddha bowl (basically a poke bowl), choosing your own base, veg, protein, toppings and dressing. One tip I would give is don’t chose the seasonal green veggies which are warm and the sashimi fish - I chose tuna which ended up getting cooked by the veg! I loved how cashew nuts were a topping option. This was a filling and healthy tasty lunch!

The first step in visiting this place is realising it's a self service kiosk. I ordered the Ponzu Salmon Bowl ($12 small) with Fresh Atlantic Salmon, Ponzu Dressing, Pickled ginger, Cucumber, Edamame, Toasted Nori, Spicy Miso Sauce, Furikake and Sweet Potato Glass Noodles. Cucumber wasn't available at the time so I swapped for Asian slaw. Tasty combo especially with the spicy miso sauce. The bowl comes neatly presented although I'm used to poke style bowls being mixed before served. For dining in my wishlist would be for real bowls and cutlery instead of disposable ones to help cut down on bin waste.

Great food seems to keep on finding Barangaroo! Bing’s Bao & Beer opened up earlier this year giving visitors a new casual dining option. Bing’s is part of Lotus Dining’s ever growing lineup of modern Chinese restaurants and offers a variety of Shanghai-inspired bao, as well as rice and noodles dishes, Japanese fusion sides, and desserts and bubble tea.

Although Bing’s very takeaway friendly for the Barangaroo lunchtime rush, but we decided to dine in for a post-work feed. We ordered all the different bao on the menu, as well as Shanghai red braised pork belly noodles, fried rice with BBQ pork, sweet potato fries, salt and pepper calamari, cucumber salad, and went with a passionfruit oolong tea and lychee yogurt bubble tea for drinks.

I am a big fan of bao. The soft, fluffy steamed buns that are shaped almost like a taco shell, with a filling of some sort of tender meat, topped with a generous drizzle of sauce -- I can devour one in just a couple of bites and still not get enough. So, of course we had to order all the bao on Bing’s menu. I won’t go on and on about all six of their available bao but I did enjoy all of them. My favourites were the Shanghai red braised pork belly and the salt and pepper fried chicken. The pork belly is one of the more traditional preparations on the menu, and is also one of the most delicious. I loved the juicy, fatty whole strips of pork belly that were so tender from being braised in the soy sauce and spice blend, and the pickled Chinese cabbage served as a great balance to the richness of the pork.

Bing’s is an excellent spot to enjoy casual time with mates. The restaurant is decorated in a bold and bright floral motif giving the place a retro yet vibrant feel. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, patiently explaining the menu to us. There’s a huge range of food, beer and other drinks that’s sure to please everyone.

Such a cool, chilled place to have some tasty food. Never had Bao before and managed to have the crumbed fish and crumbed mushroom Bao Buns. Both extremely tasty and worth the wait. The menu offered some unique dishes and very reasonably priced. The service was friendly and very helpful making the whole experience most enjoyable. P.S. the bubble tea is a must and also save room for their dessert 🍨 worth it !!

Baos aka Chinese steamed buns with fillings & beers, who knew they’d go well? The baos are good for after work light bites (go for the crumbed fish fillet with chili jam filling). But if you fancy something heavier, the egg noodles are amazing. Especially love the Kung Pao Chicken Dry Noodles (tip: I’d request for extra gravy to go with the noodles). Ended our meal with the delish banana caramel ice cream sandwich. Yum!

Busy lunch time in Barangaroo, their service was quick. Softshell crab buns for $12 were worth trying.

Guys the best chicken (try both OG and mustard) and soba noodles. Wait can get long pending the time you go. If around punch peak I’ve experienced about 15 min wait. Get there at 11:45 and you’ll get it in 3 minutes. Nevertheless consistent and tasty food. Must try

For lunch i ordered 2 baos, sweet potatoe wedges and vegetables. The salt and pepper chicken bao and tofu bao were both delicious. The chicken had a light crispy batter and the tofu had silky mouth feel as it was meant to be. The wedges tasted fine while the suprisingly peppery vegetables involved beans and broccoli. Both were a solid compliment to the baos. Really enjoyed the lunch and would go back again. Hopefully the POS touch screen system would be back tonworking order next time 😃

Fresh food and good service. Be wary as it can get quite busy around lunchtime!
