Great selection of tea and unique selection of teaware. Friendly staff. Tony has in-depth knowledge with tea. Each time I visit Quali-Tea, he takes the time to share his tea knowledge and experience with me.
I enjoyed this tea store very much, everything was excellent quality and had a real feel of it being a quality tea store. Felt luxurious. Look forward to returning here again one day.
What a wonderful little hidden gem in Sydney CBD! For people who are interested in experimenting with tea and learning to appreciate the properties of it , this store and it’s staff were the best thing to discover (better than google!). A wide range of selection and almost infinite knowledge of their range of teas, it honestly felt like walking into home again ❤️.

Beautiful store with great selections, came in to purchase something very specific that even T2 didn't have. The gentleman that served me was awesome, one of the best service I've ever had, very insightful, helpful and just seemed like an overall good person. I will definitely bringing my business here to support them as much as possible.
I visited Qualitea for the first time yesterday and was delighted to see the range of teas and beautiful tea accessories on display. I initially only wanted to browse but ended up walking out with a collection of bancha and matcha as well as my new tea set and matcha bowl. The set and bowl are gorgeous, and the bowl has obviously been made to a high quality with beautiful design.
Most importantly, the owner was extremely friendly and talkative, willing to teach me about the correct way to prepare the matcha (which I have not done before). I think a useful addition would be a small pamphlet or leaflet explaining how to care for my tea accessories after use, but I was able to find the information online. I also didn't feel pressured to buy things that I didn't want to by the owner, which was a huge relief!
I fully intend on returning to Qualitea and would recommend those wanting to purchase tea sets and accessories to come here.
Superior teas. The shopkeep is very knowledgeable and gives great recommendations. If you are after amazing fresh and tasty Chinese, Tawainese and Japanese teas, it’s worth checking out.
This place is really beautiful and they have a large assortment of teas, tea wares and lucky cats! The elderly gentleman who always is manning the store, seems very lovely.
Bought a couple of bags of tea for Xmas and just cannot believe the quality of the tea. Really lovely store and very friendly and knowledgable owner. Thanks so much! Will definitely be a regular purchase for us from now on.
