This was our first time here tonight and we had a lovely night. The service was very fast for seating, drinks and orders. The staff were friendly helpful and fun (Thi) The food was delicious with good size serves. The fried ice cream dessert was awesome! I Would definitely recommend to friends and will be back very soon.
I have been here a few times now & have always enjoyed my meals here. This is a cosy, local, family friendly, Chinese resturant. Tonight all the food came out promptly. Our service was beyond great. The waiter was friendly & very well mannered. The only fault we have from the night was that our prawn toast were quiet over cooked. We left part of each piece, and the waiter questioned us on it. Once mentioning the problem with the entree, he apologised & said he’ll be sure to fix it. We received the prawn toast free of charge, 1 of our desserts free & we used the entertainment book (he even gave us back the voucher). I’m big on customer service & tonight Mandarin Coin really looked after us. Thank you!
Very good food , ambience was very pleasure, staff were friendly, highly recommended, I would go again , the food was exact to our test and must try fried ice cream !!
this has been a favourite of mine since the mid 80's and it is still going strong. New owners in mid 2016 but thankfully they have kept the original menu, as well as adding a few new dishes just like the old owner did over the years..
Fish in BBQ sauce, Special duck with potatoes, any of the king prawn dishes, Hot and spicy squid or pork are all amazing. Service is great but like all places when they get busy it can slow down, but once your order is taken the food comes fairly quickly. Prices are the highest in the area, but you get what you pay for and they are part of a few programs like ent card and they also have their own loyalty card too.

Amazing food, great wine selection and excellent service. The hot & spicy pork ribs and mongolian lamb was delicious. Highly recommended restaurant, will definitely be back.
Amazing Chinese Food! First time there. Entertainment Book Voucher brought us to this hidden gem down Tea Tree Gully way. It is under new management now. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was exact to my taste buds. Definately will be coming back again. Our favourite dishes there Entree Satay Beef, Crispy Beef, Salt and Pepper Squid, Honey Chicken, Combination Seafood with Fried noodles and Szechuan Filet Steak. Oh you must have the Fried Icecream.
The Mandarin Coin is an old favourite, always friendly and welcoming and the food is very tasty, I've never had a bad meal. Tonight was satay chicken served on a flaming plate with special fried rice. Nice wine selection including the local Paracombe Riesling, a very nice drop! Its a great family restaurant, comfortable like an old friend. Weeknights are fine without a booking but Fri night and weekends you'll want to book.
Delicious. Easily the yummiest Sizzling Mongolian Lamb going around! So very tasty!!! Yum yum!

A family tradition of getting take out from here for the past 20 odd years. Food is always delicious. I look forward to birthdays, mothers day etc so I can eat food from here!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Went with a group of 18 for a birthday. We had to wait a bit for food to come out but the whole table came out together which was appreciated. Food was amazing. Service was excellent. Best Chinese food we have had in Adelaide.

I nice place to come for dinner on a cold winters night as it has sought of a cosy feeling about the restaurant but on the other hand the decor is probably looking abit dated. Service was pretty good, maybe a little slow but the staff were quite friendly. The menu is a descent size as they have a selection of Chinese, Cantonese and Thai food. The food was really enjoyable too, definitely recommend the duck combination
