Nice venue with a friendly atmosphere. All the staff were cheerful and the service was great. Short menu which I always appreciate, its generally a representation of their care, which was no exception here. Keep it simply and do it right.
Tonight we ordered using the online QR from the table. Drinks arrived literally moments after we confirmed the order.
The food arrived pretty quickly aswell.
We had a garlic pizza as entrée.
I got the rib eye, rare, I included a picture cut so you can see they hit the mark.
My partner got Maple glazed chicken which was also tasty and well presented.

Went there for lunch, I had the seafood duo. Boy I was impressed with the seafood, it was fresh & beautifully cooked. The salad was nice & fresh. The fries were beautifully done, but unfortunately they were a a bit over salted. The staff were very nice, friendly & helpful.
Reasonable rates , roast beef was a bit tough and lots of fatty bits. A few shrivelled potatoes roasted in their skins. Saves money hiring someone to peel them I suppose, but peeled roast potato is much nicer. Husband had a bowl of chips, much better value. Bought two sour cherry cheesecakes for friends who could not make it, they said were amazingly delicious. Had to ask for Horseradish sauce, and it was nasty super vinegary and too hot. Definitely not Neumanns. Nearby pensioners complained of the cold. Assigned table up steps difficult for one patron to navigate. good clean toilets and they have cheaper specials for lunch, will go for lunch next time. lovely staff.....Upgrade review: went for lunch- $15 special, we both chose bangers and mash. 3 snags, lovely mash all topped with bacon and gravy and a large half tomato plus grilled onions on the side. As usual lovely friendly staff, everything really clean, tables wiped down ( and dried) as soon as patrons left.Much nicer visit.
Had a great medium rare steak here. Sometimes it is hard to get a pub cooked steak that is delivered to the table still medium rare, but both my dining partner and my steak was delivered in perfect form.
The meals ordered by others on our table look good and I'm informed we delicious.
Seats can be a little uncomfortable and it is not a place for intimate dining, but it is all you would expect from a pub atmosphere.
Havent been here in years, still a lovely venue. Attended upstairs for a function. Wonderful and friendly bar staff.
Meals in the restaurant are amazing however for the function felt they were under the pump to get them out, the schnitzel & fish option were still very oily.
