Excellent pad Thai and delicious thai Basil & Beef. Well done.
Love everything but the prawns crackers... needs some improvement on that

Ordered a pad Thai for dinner today because there was a free Uber delivery promotion. Good parts about the pad Thai:
1. Fresh prawns (I counted six medium sized ones) which makes the $2 extra worth it
2. Generous portions - I think I have enough for lunch tomorrow!
Less savoury parts:
1. Wished there was more egg in my pad Thai, I only saw small glimpses of them
2. The pad Thai itself was a bit sweet and it can be a bit overwhelming if you eat a whole plate at one go
May order if I’m in the area
i am a thai food lover and wanted to have some food when i was in toorak village last week , so I ordered some food items from here the taste was good ,I liked it💕
Welcome Thai has been around for years and I'm assuming through a few changes of hands. I've been here a few times and the food is always delicious. Pictured here is the Chicken Satay that I had for entree, and the Chicken Fried Rice for the main meal. Both were very good. I would say the service was a little slow. They, like many other places, annoyingly concentrate on take out orders first, and now that Uber Eats exists, this just adds to the backlog of orders to get out. Therefore, if you're sitting at the restaurant, you end up waiting much longer than usual while they fulfil those first. Frustrating, but as long as you're not in a rush, then I guess there's more time to chat with your friends.
The decor is simple but pretty and there's a lot of street parking outside so usually pretty easy to get a parking space. Overall, I would come here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a good Thai meal out.
We love this Thai place - it's our local and we eat here regularly. Wholeheartedly recommend the Massaman curry - so yum! Friendly service and always a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.
A very balanced pad thai - you could taste the wok through the dish. Absolutely beautiful. The green curry was lovely with juicy pieces of chicken throughout. The roti serving was very small for the $4 that it was - tasty but very small.
If you dine in, don't expect your meal to be made quickly.
I was a bit apprehensive as to how this place would be like due to its rating on Zomato but I was plesantly surprised. We were a group of 6 and ordered the fried fish, massaman duck curry, larb gai, pad thai and a few vegetarian dishes. We also had spring rolls and the golden basket for starters. Everything we ordered was delicious but the golden basket, the fried fish and the larb gai were definite winners for me. The service was also excellent. I would recommend this place and I will be back :)
Very good Thai food and a very good menu. Most of the dishes I have tried have been excellent, especially their fried rice with crab meat and the panang beef. Their corkage fee is also on the low side if you bring your own alcohol. The decor fits and the wait staff is very helpful.
First impressions - very clean, uncluttered and dead quiet! Really needed some ambient music. After a while the radio was put on quietly but this isnt the reason i went here. The food came out quickly even for Thai standards and pricing was great. I had
Pad see eww with beef at $16.50. The quality of food was fantastic with fresh veggies and full of authentic flavours. The service was all smiles and flawless too.
I deducted for the uncomfortable quiet and bathroom being a little unclean. Not enough reason NoT to go here in future.
Authentic Thai food. I recommend the barbeque chicke, fried sweet and sour dish, pad thai and their green curry. I was really disappointed with the tom yum soup though. Service is okay.
Regulars of this local Thai restaurant and we're never disappointed. Food is of a consistent, high (delicious) standard! We have recommended this local fav to all our foodie friends & family! Service 100/100. Prices are reasonable considering all variables, bonus they don't charge delivery fee to locals!
Friendly staff and tasty food with great portion. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Melbourne!

Really friendly staff, food was delicious and it came out quickly. Tastefully decorated. I recommend the Thai beer! Good bang for your buck. ( and they do take away)
The most amazing Thai food 10/10. The pad Thai (vego and meat) is amazing along with the vego spring rolls and curry puffs. I can’t wait to be back for more!!!
Cosy, bookings not necessary. Delicious food.
A true delight with number of exceptionally delicious offerings. Definitely try the satay chicken & golden basket. Only knock is that at peak times the kitchen can be slow but you'll find it's worth the wait!
Great flavour - loved the Pad Thai, highly recommended! We ordered takeaway and it arrived hot and quickly! Only feedback would be the amount of onion in the Massaman curry and the stir-frys - will make sure we request little to no onion next time. Will definitely order again !
