Good food, good service & good value. Have been here with the family a few times over the past week and we were never disappointed. Even big groups are welcome and the food came out super fast & delicious. Highly recommend the burger special with mac & chesse croquettes & pulled pork yum!!! Great for little ones too as of the outdoor play area. ���
What a lovely night fir our wedding renewals. Great staff and the meals for bloody fantastic didn't have to wait long at all. Everybody who attended thought the meals were great. And the staff set our room up fantastic for us. Will certainly recommend it to everyone we know. Thanks so much Tom's tavern. Well done.
Decent pub fare with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Chicken schnitzel and seafood BBQ cooked to perfection. Sticky date pudding came with generous dollops of whipped cream and berries.
Many, Many Thanks to Tom's Tavern for our amazing event held out on the Terrace. It was a family birthday party for over 50 people and we were so grateful for all the planning, assistance and kindness from Managers, Chefs and Servers. They went out of their way to make it special. We chose platters as our food option and it worked beautifully. The food was hot, plentiful and tasty. Guests were seated at tables covered with crisp white tablecloths and served themselves from a banquet table. Particular favourites were the seafood, vegetarian and gourmet skewer platters. We had our own bar and it was all very convenient and private Just brilliant! Thank-you.
Big portions for snitzels , food Was cooked well , came out quick considering was mothers day, we have a booking for next Friday for my sons bday dinner, might try a pasta or steak next time for me :)
Also has a nice big kids area outside and a play room inside 👌
Came out to dinner recently and had a lovely evening however was served by one staff member who didn't seem overly pleased to be working (Alison or Alisha). A smile would have been nice and less attitude possibly. Otherwise, food was delicious and came out quickly. Restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere too

Crumb steak was tough, as was the rump steak...made it hard to enjoy eating it. Salad was nice and chips go with everything ..ribs and wings were good
Update: All the other times we have eaten at Tom's the food has been excellent so I guess I was just disappointed it wasn't your usual excellent standard. I should be fair and state that, for the most, the food is of a high standard. Really should post positives not just negatives.

We used to go to another place in Townsville to ear at night and then we found Tom's Tavern . Whilst the last place was good this is better. Big meals reasonable prices. Meals well presented and good flavour. Staff are friendly and efficient. No long wait for meals.
