Absolute favourite place on chapel street. Amazing happy hour and working our way through the entire menu and have not been disappointed yet! Great service and quality food/drinks. Highly recommend 10/10!
Great ambience, good food and great staff. Their happy hours at $6 for pints of Budwar the original budweiser.
With the Buddha reference I would have thought these guys had something to do with Asian cuisine, but it was all an Aussie menu. They had a decent selection of parmas (including the eggplant vegetarian option), seems like their speciality. I had The Bavarian, this style is more suited to those with a sour/savoury perference due to the mustard.
The guy who served us was pretty cool and conversational. The only thing I'd pick at was the sticky tables as if beer hadn't been cleaned off properly.
I had to kill some time on chapel st so thought I would take advantage of Buddha's happy hour. I was sitting outside which was nice and it was a good spot for people watching! The bartender was friendly and helpful with suggestions on the beer selections. Nice decor, music was a little hit and miss.
Very friendly staff and good food! Steak night specials served great steak (as advised by my friends) and eggplant parma was good too. Worth a visit
I mistakenly thought I was coming for dumplings, perhaps that was presumptuous based on the name but I certainly wasn't expecting an array of parmas and burgers. The interior is very Asian inspired too so it adds to the confusion but I did hear a rumour the venue was previously an Asian restaurant which makes a bit more sense.
Very casual atmosphere and fare. I had the chicken burger which was enjoyable enough. No complaints but nothing stellar to entice me to return given the fierce competition on the Windsor end of chapel.
I was and I am still very disappointed that this place has a killer Thai name and killer Thai decor yet isn’t serving up killer Thai food I see so much potential lost. I’m not saying that the place is horrible and the food is bad, I’m more just imaging and dreaming about what I could’ve have done with this place. Back to reality let’s actually discuss Buddhas Belly.
Pretty grungy place with basic pub fair type food. Lots of people smoking and drinking outside. I recommend coming on parma night where they have a number of different parmas available which are good and during happy hour get some good wine by the glass for only $7
If you're a meat fan, the meat platter is 100% for you! This thing was huge and such great value for money. It was all tasty and good quality meat cuts.
Wonderful food. Excellent service. Waitstaff was very attentive. Prices are great. Great location. Clean establishment. Liven Resto partner so I got a $50 bonus when I ate here. You have to try this one out
This place has great service and really great food.
Absolutely loved it.We had the mixed grill platter and was the best value for money and very generous!
We will be back.
Thanks!!
I like this place because of its casual feel. Didn't mind the burger (but a bit small) and the onion rings were a great alternative to the standard serving of chips.
Excellent. Great customer service. Great specials. And happy hour +
Best chicken parmigiana I've ever had and I've had plenty. Generous serving sizes, great choice of different toppings, good on tap drinks and various happy hours and cheap Thursdays. Been coming here for the last 4 or so years and it's always been delicious
Quite easily the best parmagiana I have ever had and the chips were top quality too. They accommodated a group of ten guys at around 10pm and the quality of service was fantastic. We were not only left with amazing food but extremely satisfied with the happy hour afterwards. Would definitely recommend coming here for dinner and drinks, keep it up guys!
This place does the best food! Everything i have had from here has been fresh and just cooked really really well. The staff are nice and the happy hour is awesome! I absolutely love their music aswell
The best bar in the Windsor end of Chapel st, and definitely among the best of the whole Street. Live music on Sundays, Coffee is amazing, and they've got Budvar on tap (one of the best Czech beers) which makes it one of the best in town, plus, they've got a killer delicious menu, and the best music in the whole Street (if you're into classic Rock, this is it). Give this a go, the staff is just beyond awesome!
Lovely little diner on Chapel Street. They have $15 steaks every Thursday, a must visit if you're nearby and hungry for a steak. The beer collection is also pretty good. Highly recommended.
Delicious food. Friendly staffs.
This was one of the best nights I've ever had! The service was amazing and so was the food. And the cocktails were awesome! Highly, highly recommended.
