This is my favourite place in Melbourne! Even though we can never finish the meat platter lol. The food is seriously tasty. Every bite is a delight, no matter what you have. Also has a pretty amazing wine list! The service is incredible. Every staff member makes you feel at home and takes the time to get to know you. I cant rave enough about this place. It's the best!
The best Greek food we've eaten, family run, old style amazing food and service. Tony is a star on the floor and will really look after you. Highly recommend.
The souvlaki is packed full with meat and fresh salad. Not too greasy and the meat had a beautiful charred flavour.
We have been getting Elenis delivered since lockdown 2 almost weekly because the food is so delicious and travels well. It always arrives hot and the mixed meat platter is delicious and packed full of flavour. They have great customer service also.We look forward to the end of lockdown and being able to visit the restaurant again.
GREAT home style cooking as though your Greek grandma would cook at Christmas if she were an unbelievably talented cook.
The best moussaka I’ve had and the service was unbeatable. Everyone was so nice! The chef even came out to chat to every table halfway through the night to make sure everyone was happy and get/give some feedback!

We heard so much about this place from our friends, so we thought we would give it a try. Well i can truly say we weren't disappointed. We had the dips and fig saganaki for starters, the fig jam was to die for and the dips house made. The meat platter for 2 was good value and super tasty straight from the charcoal grill. Service was great on a busy night. We would definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.
Finally a great Greek restaurant in the west. Definitely one worth trying. Modern Greek restaurant with all the traditional fare available with modern additions. Quality meals and a great menu. Serving are very generous, so you are guaranteed to not leave hungry. This restaurant has a casual feel suitable for a great night out for adults and families. Staff are fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating to all different requests. Make sure you don’t leave without dessert, there is more than just baklava available too!

This is the second time I’ve visited with my Greek in-laws and it never seems to fail on all aspects. From service to food, they’re exceptional at delivering authentic and delicious dishes. The sauce the meatballs were cooked in was phenomenal. We finished our dinner with a galaktoboureko paired with a mountain tea. I can’t wait to return!

I booked online & didn’t realise there was a Set Menu $65pp. As I couldn’t afford this, one of the waitresses gave me an option of choosing less servings from the Set Menu which made the cost a bit more manageable.
We were seated upstairs which is a really nice seating area. Vicky was our main waitress for the night and she was really helpful, pleasant to deal with and uses professionalism. If I had a question and she wasn’t sure of the answer she would find out for me which I appreciated as I have food allergies. She’s a great asset to your team.
Great service from our waiter George, we had all of his reccomendations and felt that it was a very customised experience.

Eleni’s is a family owned restaurant with a long history and association with Yarraville, having been involved in a number of cafes and restaurants over the last 50 years. This began with their first Greek restaurant, located opposite the “Sun Theatre,” in what is now known as the “Yarra Lounge”. Great Grandpa of the family was also the founding Greek Orthodox priest of the “Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox” in Yarraville.
Big plates, excellent service. Amazing desserts!! Galaktoboureko comes as a huge piece and it's very good.. but the baklava ice cream was an exciting surprise.. it's a must try as I've never had it or seen in another Greek restaurant before.
From the food to the service and decor, Eleni's offers a wonderful, authentic Greek experience with delicious food and lovely staff.
My partner and I sat in the outside area that had a beautiful mural along the wall. I had the stuffed eggplant, he had the meatballs, and we shared a halloumi/rock melon salad. I didn't think we'd finish it all but the heartiness of the dishes made it easy.

There is a reason why you would eat Greek at an originally Greek suburb like Yarraville, where the streets are lined with Olive Trees. A random walk-in, we ordered the seafood platter and the special entree and were incredibly happy by food and service.
The platter is a real feast, like a good Greek party. Will certainly visit again and will try the more traditional day-to-day foods next. Superb and recommended

Elenis Kitchen and Bar is a family run Greek restaurant with a long history located in the heart of Yarraville. It is named in honour of their yiayia, Eleni and her recipes feature in their traditional menu. 🇬🇷
If you have been following their Instagram page, you would know that they have done some incredible things throughout lockdown by gifting free meals almost weekly to support the local community and healthcare workers. 🙌🏽
All of the food was definitely tasty and traditional. For the entrees, the Saganaki was droolworthy and the Calamari was so delicious it had us wanting more.
The Meat Platter is a must, the lamb cutlets and pork skewers were our favourite. We did find the gyros meat a little dry, but that won’t stop us trying again sometime when we come back sometime for a pita!
My only downside was that we were still hungry, the dishes were not as generous as most Greek restaurants especially when in our culture we love to feed! They could improve on the value given the prices. What IS good value though, is Eleni’s regular hosted Greek Taverna Nights with banquets, live music, dancing and of course - plate smashing. Tickets are only $65 and sell out quick so don’t hesitate.

Wow. What an experience. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing taverna like atmosphere. Middle of winter but we sat out in the back garden area and it was warm and toasty with the gas heaters going. Shout out to the biggest gem, Γιάννης who looked after us all night, recommending the best food, items that “weren’t on the menu” and for the complimentary port. The food was traditional, delicious and came out so quickly. Some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. A fun and memorable evening.
Excellent service and great food. We did the Elenis banquet and were worried the food wouldnt be enough. Not only was it enough but there was left overs from our meat platters. Food was authentic, staff were warm, helpful and happy to recommend authentic dishes we would normally shy away from. The florines piperies were to die for (waiter recommend). Deserts were the best ive tasted. Great selection of alcohol and an awesome selection of ouzo. Fresh, tasty and fast service, an easy 5 star rating for this one.
Elenis also had weekly food give aways for the community throughout covid lockdown, this is a local business that gave back to the community for weeks on end. Get behind them!! OPA!!
First time trying this restaurant and I can not fault it. Amazing authentic Greek food. Took be back to my Greek holiday I had a few years ago. We had the fish of the day and chicken gyros amazing. Will be back again soon and would recommend this restaurant to all who are looking for a authentic Greek experience. Big shout out to the staff exceptional service, very hard to come by these days.
