My favourite place for Chicken Mushroom parma with veggies and wedges. Everything about the dish is delish! Mushroom sauce is so good and rich in flavour, the veggies have a magic sauce drizzled on it and those wedges perfectly crispy with the right level of potato mush on the inside. I love it from the first to the very last bite. Staff are always friendly and lovely. Their pizza, pasta and steaks are delicious tooo. Even though I go through the whole menu everytime and entertain the thought of having a different dish, it's always going to be Chicken Mushroom parma.
The quality of the food is above exceptional. The Chicken Parma is made using actual chicken breast, not processed meat and the Bolognese sauce is by far the best in Melbourne.
I certainly recommend Godfathers either by Eat in or delivery via Menulog or UberEats.
I have tried their Chicken Parma, Spaghetti & Penne Bolognese, Hawaiian and cheese pizzas and Scotch fillet steak which was delightfully topped off with tasty pepper sauce... I should also mention the chips are great, a serve of ships comes with the Parma and Steak dishes.
I'm a regular customer here and I have never been disappointed.
While the rest of Yarraville seems to have embraced its modern status as an inner-city vegie haunt, Godfather’s pledges staunch loyalty to the suburbs – resembling a typical residential corner pizzeria outside and in.
This joint offers all the classics – margherita, Hawaiian, meat lovers and co – but is famed for its stunning range of gourmet pizzas.
Godfather’s Sujuk pizza is unconventional – with sujuk, capsicum, spring onion and olives presenting a brave hybrid between a Turkish pide and a traditional pizza. It hits the spot regardless – offering bite in terms of both crispiness and the mild aftershock after nibbling into the sausage.
The portions are especially generous, with a ‘small’ pizza likely to sate even the largest of appetites.
Certainly not least of all, a side of chips is worth serious consideration – golden, immaculately crispy, and spilling centimetres over the brim of a deep bowl: textbook fries.
