Had Chinese New Year dinner here. It was about 12 courses including peaking duck, lobster tail, oysters, whole barramundi and more! So much food and it was all excellent. Service was quick and easy and about $59 a head which is great value!

I visited Ming's Palace for dinner with my family. They had really nice duck pancakes and fried ice cream. Good service as they were attentive and patient while we ordered for the first time.

The renowned roast duck here is amongst the best in Adelaide. The second and third courses are passable and perfunctory respectively, but the first course is stellar. Warm house made pancakes are provided for you with pre cut slivers of crispy roast duck, cucumber, shallots and a wonderfully moreish sauce. It is this course that more than adequately justifies the entire cost of the meal.

Between four people, it might not be enough food but this gives you an opportunity to try the other dishes on the menu. The salt and pepper squid was excellent as was their shallot pancakes.

As said in a previous review, it's best to prebook the duck - maybe that and their fortune chicken which seems to be very popular here as well. Will be very keen to return!

One of the very few places to serve authentic Chinese food. Renowned for its roast duck, you can get the banquet consisting of the pancake with duck, duck noodles and duck soup for $50.

I've come here heaps of times over the past couple of months. The Peking Duck always exceeds my expectations every time. It tastes better every time I go there. The staff and service are very friendly and the atmosphere is always lively. But the best thing about the resturant is its location near Ming's steam boat. (PS that place is excellent)

I've come here so many times over the years with my family and friends to get my Peking duck fix. The restaurant has become a little dated in recent times but it's still the same open bright and friendly restaurant I remember from when I was a kid. I went recently with a two other friends, we booked and pre ordered the Peking duck. You probably don't need to book before hand but I think it's safer to call ahead and reserve the duck to be sure. The duck banquet is three courses with the duck skin and pancake, duck meat with noodles or rice and duck bone broth to finish. We ordered the fortune chicken and a fried rice as well. The duck banquet alone was probably enough for the three of us. At around $55 for one Peking duck banquet (per duck not per person), I thought this was great value. Whilst not on the same level as Asia, I think Ming's might be the best place for Peking duck in Adelaide, but there are not that many other restaurants offering it. The service was friendly and attentive, although it was fairly quiet. I've always had good meals and Ming's and unless another Peking duck place pops up, this will continue to be my go to for duck.

Excellent place for family dinners. The peking duck is one of the better ones in Adelaide. The seafood dishes are excellent. This restaurant has been around for a long time and keeps doing well.

This is the only place I come for Peking duck (in Australia) and I've been coming for the last 15 years! The pancakes may not be as soft and thing as others but the crispy skin and succulent meat is best I've had anywhere. Other reliable dishes are the s&p squid and zing du pork ribs. Only negative is that the prices aren't as good as they use to be.

Easily the Best Modern-Chinese in town.. These guys cater and staff well, even when the restaurant is packed. They have some amazing unique dishes that I have not found anywhere else. I would recommend Orange Duck, Honey Sesame Beef, Salt and Pepper Squid, Chinese Green Beans. They cook it nicely and don't deep fry the crap out of it. You can taste the sauces too, (without that MSG and sugar flare that some cheaper places have). Fast friendly service. I recommend booking, as they seem to do a lot of Weddings and functions, so check first prior to going.

Good service, tasty food and the food portion quite reasonable for the CNY banquet dinner per table. Will go back again to try out other dishes

The Peking Duck needs to be order 24 hours in advance, it is a dish to die for. For two people it was more than adequate. I had always wanted to try and enjoyed the experience.

Very traditional Chinese restaurant. Only 30 years old. Very bland food, but excellent service. Friendly.
