Nice and homey restaurant away from the madding crowd. We decided to try something different, away from the usual hot spots like Rundle St. As per most recent reviews in 2013, the Pepper Squid is delicious! The Crispy Beef in Plum Sauce was superb! Just enough batter to make it crispy crunchy to the bite and the meat was still tender. Not smothered in flour like most restaurants do. And the servings are very generous. One serve is good enough to share with two people. My hubby had the Laksa. It was quite tasty. We would have liked to have more spiciness in the laksa but next time we visit we'll just ask to add a couple more chillies in it. We were too stuffed, didn't have room for dessert. They are very tempting though so we will definitely visit again.

Great value, Excellent food, good portion size, enormous variety for the palate. Softshell crab, spare ribs plum sauce, chicken with coconut and lemongrass are among the highlights. Do yourself a favour. Small, intimate and away from the madding crowd!

Since I last ate here a few months ago they have added some more Viet options and more noodle soups to the dinner menu and the results are excellent. I had the Phnom Penh seafood noodle soup and my partner the dumpling noodle soup. Both were excellent. The broth was home style and refined (my partner is Vietnamese Australian so tough customer). The dumplings in the dumpling soup were phenomenal...some of the best we've had. The salt and pepper dishes (we had an entree) are also excellent and not so chock full of MSG like many places. This is now my go to viet fix in the city.

Pho here is a little bit different with other Vietnamese restaurants, but quite nice. Service always fast and friendly, Vietnamese coffee was tasty. Only once that pho served were all stick together, seems boiled maybe one hour ago. Overall it's very good.

We went there and ordered fried pork and "sour" soup (basically, it is 'sweat' and preferable by people from South-west Vietnam). Food was nice, but it is a bit expensive for student (~$AU 20.00 each for a diner).

2 cold rolls for $7.50 is pricy. And a Vietnamese iced coffee that was only 3/4 full (including the ice) and very sweet.. Not great..
