Ignore the poor reviews, this Korean BBQ deserves a far better rating. Good food, great service and very authentic. Would visit again when I am in Adelaide.

I was honestly scared of the amount of negative reviews this place has gotten. It seems like theres new management because the service was amazing. Our host was really nice and came by every few minutes to cook our meat. It wasn’t very busy but the atmosphere was still nice. For 32$ bbq buffet is honestly worth its price. I would come back again and try their a la carte dishes ☺️☺️

Disregard the negative reviews. This place is the best kbbq in Adelaide and their service and quality of food has improved well since the 5 year old reviews. :)

Dined here tonight as a party of three. Food was excellent, and that's coming from someone who ate a LOT of KBBQ in Seoul. The kimchi was divine and I loved the bulgogi too.
Don't be put off by other negative reviews. The waitress was friendly and polite, and the owner(?), an older Korean man, came to our table a couple of times to load up our grill with more food so he could bring out a fresh plate of meat, which we appreciated a lot. He was never pushy or rude, simply trying to make our experience a positive one.
We had no issues whatsoever with the time limit or the leftovers charge, and didn't incur it as we were considerate of what we were consuming, but still managed to put away 6 plates of meat between three people!
Polite, friendly service, in a clean and well kept venue. We'll definitely be back, if puts the other Adelaide KBBQ places to shame.

My friends and I visited this place in a quiet Friday night. There was only 1 couple there. There are 2 types of menu, normal and all you can eat. If you order under all you can eat menu, it's $32/pp. $5 more per person if you order too much and can't finish your food. Side dishes aren't included in the $5. There were variety type of meat. I would recommend the normal pork belly. There are 3 types of sauce, all tasty.

Don't let the rating scare you. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food is really nice. I will come back again.

I'm not sure why there arent better reviews for this place. It's cheap and the meat is of good quality. Sure, the servers don't speak good English, but they try really hard to give you good service. Plus it's the few (or only!) place that does Yukhoe (Korean beef tartare). It's not romantic but no bbq place is! It fills you up and satisfies the carnivore in you, it's a lot of fun with friends to grill meat, drink soju and have a laugh. What's so bad about that?

Great selection of meats and fresh sides for a cook yourself Korean BBQ. The kimchi was really nice too- not too sweet!

Sure, some of the other people complain about the $5 charge for not finishing your meal. Psh I say! Just eat everything! It's not hard when it's so tasty.
Recommended for it being such an authentic experience. Sure, it's not flashy or luxurious. But it was full when I went, and I can see why.

A lof of fun. My friends and I went to Charcaol Hwaro's for dinner and it was a lot of fun, since we didn't have much experience in cooking the BBQ the staff were really helpful, showing us the best ways to cook the meat, which was delicious!

After reading some of the other reviews, I was a bit worried. However we had a great experience! 1hr 40 minutes is plenty of time to eat, and we had no issues with extra charges for left over food.

It's like we were in Korea. As soon as we sat down in this restaurant, it just reminded me so much of my trip in Korea years ago. I was so excited that there is such an authentic Korean experience in Adelaide. We asked the waitress (of course Korean) what the most typical dishes would be and ordered it. We had no idea what we would be eating which is the biggest fun in trying exotic food. ;) If you love meat, this place will be great. We just thought that there were not enough vegetable dishes. How can you BBQ vegies anyway? The interesting thing is that they have many customers buying meat from them, probably because they cut the meat in the special Korean way.
