The service is great & the food delicious. The staff wonderful & friendly . We definitely will be visiting many more times. As we can not get enough of the amazing melt in your mouth grilled meat platter & seafoid platter. Highly reccomend to visit and try for yourselves.
Very good place for the coeliac and non coeliac diner. The food is sensational and they prepare stuff very well. The best steaks I have had in Melbourne I have had from this establishment and I have been back many times. The Rib Eye is to die for.
Can not fault the food here, have been numerous times & each visit has been as good as the last. Beautiful steak & always cooked to perfection!
Food was sensational! We came for Mother’s Day lunch so there was a shorter menu however still great choices. Cevapi had so much flavour and wasn’t too salty. The stuffed calamari was cooked to perfection and the potato salad with it had a beautiful flavour. For mains, the eye fillet, goulash and pork fillets were all enjoyed thoroughly. Dessert was sticky date pudding (YUM-however not enough icecream and was $4 for another small scoop) and flourless chocolate cake which the others said wasn’t too sweet and quite liked it.
The only down fall was the service. It was incredibly slow however the food made up for it! Will definitely be back though

Wonderful service staff, fantastic food and being Coeliac Association Accredited is the cherry on top! Love their grilled seafood and they always have amazing steaks on menu for selection- cooked to perfection!
Now this is my kind of restuarant. It serves delicious meat, fresh salads and great wines. We had dinner here on a Sunday night, it was busy, we didnt have a booking but luckily we got a table! We ordered the ajvar with pita, the shopska salad and shared a gypsy mixed meat plate. Everything was delicious, the meat was cooked well, we will definitely visit again soon. Also great customer service.
Friendly service, seafood platter is very well cooked. The stuffed squid is delicious and we love the complimentary bread as well. Definitely will come back to try the grilled meat platter!
Got the special tomahawk steak ages ago, was so juicy and tender, crispy outside. Cooked perfectly (medium for such a big piece). No need to get another item and it is more than enough for one. Will definitely come back for it!
We were at home watching ‘Steak Revolution’ on Netflix whilst not eating steak! This steak documentary is great by the way, they filmed all around the world discussing and eating different beef. Immersing ourselves in food is what we’re all about, and this documentary made us crave for steak bad! We decided that the next night we were going to get our fix, however we had one little problem. We had overspent a little bit for the week, which meant that we had to find a bang for buck restaurant. This ruled out pretty much all the top steak houses, and this is where Mediterraneo Charcoal Restaurant came to the rescue.
5 stars for the service, all the staff makes you feel at home. Had a Christmas party here and felt well looked after, waiter will always top up my glass. A very homely feel, delicious seafood and meat platters. Located on a fantastic cafe strip. Would recommend for big groups.
Best steak out of all Melbourne restaurants I have been too and such great price! Beats all the fancy steak places like Rockpool by miles!! Service was wonderful and ambience was a lovely dining setting.
We celebrated on Mother's Day - so the menu was a little different. We thought it was good but not great. The service was good but being upstairs we did feel forgotten between courses. Music was super repetitive. The same 9 songs played over and over was a bit much.

Went there tonight with my partner for my birthday. Staff are so lovely! We got the seafood platter which was so yummy! It was the perfect size for us to feel satisfied and full! Some of the best seafood I’ve had in a long tim! We also got sticky date pudding each which was amazing!
I’m gluten intolerant and the whole menu is naturally gluten free so that was a bonus! My partner isn’t gluten intolerant and he absolutely loved the food! Will definitely come again!
Nice staff, great food but didn’t like the place as it was really small and people were really have to squeeze in as they want to take seats or walk to counter etc
We’ve started with garlic and prawn and also kufta which was deliciousness at its best, they’ve brought olive oil, balsamic and bread for the waiting time also
We all ordered different food and the overall taste and quality of all was very nice
Lamb cutlets were star of the day, also nice presentation for the salmon which was special of the day

One of my absolute favourite places... Wonderful service and delicious food. The salmon is sensational with at least 5 vegetables. My husband loves the steak. The sticky date pudding is like no other. Can not praise them enough. Thank you.
We finally got to Mediterraneo yesterday and boy it did not disappointment. The food was really fantastic and the serving sizes were good. All six of us really enjoyed all of our meals and for me being Coeliac it was so good knowing that it was ALL safe for me to eat. The service was excellent too! Very friendly, comfortable restaurant, we will all definitely be back. Thank you very much.
The steak is so perfect & beef goulash is so so good. And their price is not too expensive as well!!! I will def go back again!!!
