Great food and service the old fashion way - with a smile and a genuine friendliness. Try the sausage rolls!!!
The best croissants and a fabulous coffee
A busy place that sells delicious pies and cakes. Just to stop by and sitting outside is faboulous. The steak and cheese pie served in hot, the filling is very rich and saucy. The baked cheesecake comes with quite a big portion, you could taste a hint of lemon and would be perfect for 2 people to share. Coffee is just one of those nice coffees in town. I like this place and would certainly come more often.
Excellent quality, melt in the mouth quiche and
pastries in a wonderfully elegant arcade setting.
Coffee pretty good too. A suggestion - I only wish they did fresh leaf chai lattes not just chai tea.
Croissant Heaven. I love the croissants, the escargots, the danish pastries, the almost croissants. It is all YUM. When you continuously search for perfection and you find it, you eat it very slowly, savour it and just enjoy. Clearly they are all made with lots of love and lots of fresh butter. No aftertaste in the mouth, like so many croissants, not burnt or dry inside either. The art is handed down from craftsman to craftsman after years of training. Thank goodness there is one in Melbourne in Armadale
This intermate French cafe leaves you wanting nothing the pure Taste of what we ate the soup pies cakes all excellent
I would recommend this place easily.
Great place to grab a quick lunch - nice wraps, home made pies, yummy French patisserie style cakes. And I love the staff, the owners are super nice.
Food 2: delicious pastries but pure pie is the best still 😉
Decors 1: European style
Service 0.5: the service was a bit rough .. with this kind of cafe, set in classy Armadale I'd expect a lovely service...
This was a quick morning tea stop on a quiet Thursday morning when the rain was pouring down and all felt quite grey and miserable. Thank Heavens for tea and cake!. The tea was strong and well brewed and my friend and I enjoyed an eclair each. I had the chocolate one which had a secret layer of strawberry jam. Great choux pastry and delicious fresh cream. A touch sweet but the tea helped. Gold star for the coffee eclair though and definitely a case of food envy on my part. It was perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness and coffee flavour. That's the one to go for!
I am completely obsessed with this little café, they do the best homemade pies and a large variety of French patisseries.
My favourite apart from the Pain aux raisins/Escargot and the Croissants, has to be The Millefeuille/Vanilla Slice! It is probably one of the best in Melbourne, it is so delicious, delicate and so creamy. This is the only place where I can find beautiful pastries which reminds me of France. :)
Best meat pies I've ever eaten, especially the pepper beef. Wraps and pastries are great, but the desserts are too sweet for my tastes. The coffee is ok, but I'm not a fan of the way they make the flat white's milk/froth.

In one word: Sneaky.
I saw the Euro Lounge's vanilla slice being shared on Twitter by a happy customer so thought it best to try it myself. I was very impressed with the products at this little cafe on High Street and the vanilla slice was a delicious way to finish off my lunch. It wasn't until I peeled off the paper case that a sneaky and delicate layer of strawberry jam on the bottom layer of pastry was revealed. This was a good product in terms of flavour, size, textures and aesthetics. Firstly, the custard was just that...custard. Creamy, a little eggy, vanilla bean running through and a nice thick, but not gelatinous texture. The pastry was flaky, very thin and delicate and crumbly throughout. The jam gave the whole thing a fruity sweetness that came through with every bite, and the sticky fondant icing was a pleasure to lick off my fingers afterwards. Very nice indeed.
