Nice ambience and good place to have a catch up with sip of coffee ☕️ around balwyn area
Did not like the smoked eel in the signature burger. Overpowers the more delicate crab flavour. Burger also somewhat expensive at $25. Waffles were very good and not overpoweringly sweet. Mocha coffee was excellent. Service was good.

Many people have asked me if I actually do the social media for this cafe or am I a part of their team given the similarities in our name... and I always end up thinking maybe next time I should say yes cos it would have been that many times this question has come up... anyways truth be told... My handle is in no way related to this cafe.
However my visit here was absolutely memorable as I got to meet fellow bloggers and we had a great time brunching-- the highlight of the brunch was this mojo upside down waffle dish which was so beautifully presented, we wanted to keep looking at it.. the food was absolutely beyond compare and the menu was superbly a combo between healthy, Asian hints, modern aussie and very colorful.
Their decor was super industrial chic, wall mural of this cute doggy and prices were super reasonable.
I would rate them in my top ten cafes in Melbourne

Went with a group of friends with bubbas. Manager was very accommodating with space, prams, high chairs and the general madness that comes with bubbas. Lovely food, very friendly service. Highly recommended
Been to White Mojo in the CBD and this venue in Balwyn is actually up there with it.
We got:
- Seafood linguine
- Signature croissant burger
- Pancake & rhubarb
Honestly they all tasted as good as they looked, or even better! The prawn in the linguine was perfectly cooked, the soft shell crab in the croissant was crispy and the pancake was soft and fluffy.
Highly recommended these dishes when you pay a visit here!
White mojo is one of my local go-to brunch place. The food there has never disappointed me, the staffs are attentive and polite. The place has a modern setting, nice and brightly lit, plenty of window lights coming through.
On a recent visit there, we ordered a few dishes: The Signature Croissant Burger, Rhubarb & Pancakes, Mad Mojo Waffles and the Big Breakfast.
The hero of the signature croissant burger was the crispy fried soft shell crab that was sandwiched between the two sides of the croissant. For me, the addition of the smoked eel and chorizo crumbs just takes this dish to another level.
The rhubarb & pancake was fluffy and has nice balance between the sweetness and the sourness. It was presented in full colours too!
The Mad Mojo Waffle with coconut ice cream has to be the highlight of our visit there. We love how it was presented like someone dropped an ice cream cone :)
It was a celebration of textures and such a visual delight on a plate. Oh, of course, it was delicious too! Again, good balance of sweetness. Not too sweet.
What I love the most from their Big Breakfast was their hash brown. They were chunky, and it tasted more like a curry puff fillings. I quite enjoyed this different approach to the typical hash brown.
Staffs were polite and attentive.
Overall a great brunching experience there. Highly recommended brunch place! :)
We were invited to White Mojo this morning which presented well with plenty of natural sunlight streaming in, Scandi interior and a Melbournian plethora of greenery, there was even a delicious looking cake cabinet to boot.
Unfortunately the chia pudding I wanted was not available so I ordered the pancake and rhubarb. This wasn’t my first choice but it definitely exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the layers of pancakes which had the passionfruit curd sandwiched between them. It was very well balanced with the tart rhubarb compote on top which you could counter with the little jug of maple syrup.
The mascarpone gave it a nice creaminess, crunch from the granola and I loved the ingenious Nutella snow. The waffle itself was tasty. It was topped with a black waffle cone filled with yummy coconut ice cream. The coconut purée was also good but I didn’t care for the texture of the lychee compote which was very grainy and left a rather unpleasant taste in my mouth. More Nutella snow featuring here. Would recommend overall
I thoroughly enjoyed brunching at White Mojo in Balwyn with a few friends. This cafe is beautifully decorated with big windows which allowed a lot of natural lighting inside!
We ordered a mixture of different drinks which included the cappuccino, the turmeric latte, the Matcha latte, the watermelon juice, the Doctor C juice and the Summer Lovin' juice. The coffee here is really good, just what you need to wake you up on Saturday morning.
For food, we ordered the Signature Croissant Burger, the Big Breakfast, the Pancake + Rhubarb and the waffles. The waffles was definitely a stand-out for me. It was delicious and I loved the mixture of fruits on there. It also wasn't too sweet which is a plus.
I just love this place because they have beautifully looking foods that tastes good too! What more can you ask for? Definitely recommend this place!
Great place to have brunch. A very spacious and modern interior, with friendly staff.
Food was yummy and served promptly.
Parking is sometimes a struggle, having to park up into the little streets nearby.
White Mojo has some of the prettiest and coolest drink options for brunch!
For drinks, we ordered some coffee, their organic soft drink ‘strawberry love bite’ and black latte (contains grounded black sesame & peanuts).
The ‘strawberry love bite’ was gorgeous! I loved the colours of it and it tasted good as well - it definitely had some lychee flavours in there. The popping strawberry balls were a fun addition to the drink as well!
For food, we ordered their brekkie wrap, salmon pizza and waffles.
The salmon pizza was my fave during my visit! It is actually served in a really cool way - they add smoke inside which is covered by a glass lid to add some awesome theatrics to it! Love how much cheese was in the pizza too, I finished it all!
Service was friendly and they were super helpful in helping us decide what to order!
