Excellent coffee, it is a cafe and the owner operator makes the coffee as you like it and it is fresh and stimulating. She has to be the most friendly, hard working and down to earth owner in the area, a really hard working and genuine person. The cafe has limited seating but one can get a seat but the advantage is in a world of expensive coffee and elaborate desserts and snacks that are over priced, this cafe offers nice simple fair priced simple snacks, spanakopita, sandwiches and pasties and pies to name a few,
To support a local a friendly hard working local, give it your support, a nice unpretentious cafe offering coffee and snacks with high end cakes for take away catering

3.6.

It’s a good place this one. A sleeper. It looks rather old fashioned from the street. It could be Lucas’ cake shop from the 70s. But, look past that and go straight to the substance. It’s a nice bright shop cafe for a start. The sun was streaming in on a cool Melbourne day and it was really lovely and light inside. A very pleasant spot for sure. Even the cute outdoor seats looked inviting in the tepid northern sunshine.

The pies and cakes looked good here. The huge sausage rolls caught my eye and I made a mental note to have one on my next visit. The coffee was unexpectedly superb here even though that matter had been touched on in a few online reviews. Those reviews were spot on. My medium coffee was bible black and mighty strong. It was a beauty. A cracker with three shots. At $4 a mug it was excellent value and certainly on par or better for quality coffee than the more fancied Olive Lane over the road.

The breakfast pricing at Mozart’s looked amazing. There’s a very limited range but the prices looked unbeatable. $12 for eggs, bacon and coffee.

I was served beautifully here. Politely, efficiently and excellently. The server was very nice.

As I say, look past the need for a bit of modernisation as there’s ample to admire here. Recommended.

I was dropping past by this area and tried this patisserie or cafe which was so clean, nice and tidy. I ordered a long michiato, 4 layers as it should be👌, then I test their fresh cakes. The Castle Slice was so yummy and crunchy. The staff are so people friendly and won't push you order more or ask you extra shots as many cafes do.
