Nice and clean store, with friendly staff. Grabbed a bacon and egg roll along with one potato cake (they gave two small ones instead, yay). The egg in the roll was a bit small but other than that I was pretty satisfied. They gave quite a lot of bacon and the potato cakes were also delicious. I’d go back for their fish some day!

It's awesome to find a good fish in chips store in my hood. The twin pack is great value for $18. 2 pieces of flake, dim sims and potato cakes with a generous serve of hot chips.

The flake was crispy and of a decent thickness unlike other fish and chips store that serve paper thin flake. Chips were freshly cooked and were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Definitely my favourite fish and chips store in the area!

I went there this afternoon and I got a Dinner Pack, which came with a Grilled Flake, 2 Potato Cakes and Chips for $10. I really enjoyed it and the man was kind to me and the service was amazing.

Love this fish and chip shop! Just around the corner from our place, we have it almost once a week. Super cheap and delicious food. Best chips in melbourne!

Nice fish and chips. Had grilled flake and blue grenadier. Potatoe cake and fried dim sim were also good. However the only negative would be the chips. Not salted well and not very crunchy, perhaps underdone.

Best fish and chips in Balwyn
Consistently good been coming here for 3 years and nothing in the area comes close
Hand made chips and potato cakes proper old style batter flake is moist and a decent thickness but can be a bit dry when grilled and occasionally the dimmies are a bit overdone

Average fish and chips. They were cooked nice and crunchy and there was no overpowering oil taste, however, everything was super salty thanks to double (triple?) salting behind the counter.

Fish itself was a little dry and did not taste that fresh. We chose this to try over our usual place (Red Emperor in Kew) as they didn't have whiting while Belmore Fish + Chippers did.

Aside from the salt problem, it was pretty good and we'd probably come back if convenient.

Always fresh and crunchy. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience. Call through your order and it's ready so quickly! I can't recommend this place enough. Fish and Chips... awesome, lamb souvlaki... amazing, double lamb souvlaki... double amazing!!!!
